presto123
I was just thinking how good Alex is at playing emotive guitar solos and how they can raise the hairs on your arm. Something Eddie Van Halen used to talk about as well. What are your best goosebump guitar solos? Not looking for best technical or fast solos here but most emotive and well phrased. I'll start with a few: Between The Wheels-Rush I'll Wait-Van Halen Peg-Steely Dan Who's Cryin Now-Journey Hotel California-Eagles I will say Lifeson and Van Halen have way too many to mention. Keep em coming. I'll list a few more later.

EmotionDetector
Awesome choice with I'll Wait...probably a forgotten Eddie solo, but one of my all-time personal favourites! Hmm...so, so many! presto123
I do agree about Mark Knopfler and David Gilmour being mainstays like Lifeson and Van Halen. I would put Neil Schon and Eric Clapton in that category as well. I'll have to think of my fav Clapton solo.
