  4. Scorps for me though Accept are one of my favourite bands too. I think the Scorps back catalogue is better and they have two wonderfully different eras that include their 70`s albums up to and including Tokyo Tapes and then the Lovedrive through to Love At First Sting albums.
  5. Here`s a few ...... Rush Styx Journey Iron Maiden Black Sabbath Survivor Night Ranger Toto 38 Special Scorpions Accept Y&T Loverboy Eagles Blackfoot Foreigner Little River Band Kansas Le Roux Rainbow Reo Speedwagon Toronto Wrabit UFO
  6. Survivor were excellent up until Too Hot To Sleep then generally down hill from there. They were slightly rockier with Dave Bickler on vocals between the S/T debut and Caught In The Game album then a change of vocals with the wonderful Jimi Jamison and a more keyboards orientated sound, starting with the absolute classic Vital Signs and then When Seconds Count, finally a different sound again on Too Hot To Sleep. I think they are great but don`t like hearing their super hit anymore as it`s been overplayed beyond belief. Rock Candy Remasters are .... S/T Premonition Caught In The Game Vital Signs When Seconds Count Too Hot To Sleep Eye Of The Tiger has not been reissued through Rock Candy, not sure why though?
  7. I thought the first series was laugh out loud where as the 2nd series is yet to warm up IMO
  8. Styx along with Rush are my two favourite bands. I love their albums from Equinox through to Paradise Theatre. The albums after I do enjoy but of a lesser quality. Missed an opportunity to see them on the Paradise Theatre tour at Stafford Bingley Hall, I was about 14 years old, my dad still insists it was the best concert he`s been to. Did get to see them around 3 or 4 years back, superb evening.
  9. Pulp Fiction An Office And A Gentleman Goodfellas The Omen Frankenstein (1931)
  10. Off the top of my head..... Airplane Caddyshack Dumb And Dumber There`s Something About Mary Kingpin Every Which Way But Loose Any Which Way You Can Police Academy National lampoons Vacation The Man With Two Brains
  11. Great band, one of my favourites. So many great albums, a dodgy decade through the 90`s and then a great return with Brave New World. IMO, A Matter Of Life And Death is up there with their best releases! Rime of The Ancient Mariner is my favourite song.
  12. Friend at work saw a link on Facebook, I clicked online there and then and booked tickets for Birmingham LG Arena - Block B, Row W, quite pleased, would of liked to have been closer though.
  13. QUOTE (LCS @ Nov 20 2010, 05:36 PM) I may have left it a bit late, but I saw that members of rush.com get access to presale tickets for the Uk tour . How does one join this ? The only thing I can find a link on their website to join the mailing list, but this doesn't work . Any ideas? - presale starts Monday and getting desperate. Otherwise its a morning off work next Friday fighting the rest of the hordes for tickets.... Thanks ! I posted the same question a couple of days ago, very frustrating, I`ve been visiting that site for I don`t know how long and never thought there was a mailing list.
  14. Possibly only been into Marillion for around 12 months, I have the first 4 albums which I love. Wondered whether the Hogarth era is worth listening to?
