If you're looking for the whackiest, craziest, over the top-pest car chase scene in movie history, look no further.

Involving an ambulance, an ex-inmate dressed as a paramedic out for revenge, a cop out for revenge, a rich kid out for revenge, a car full of bodyguards and a serial killer bitten by a water snake in his underwear, the scene alone is worth the price of admission, and you're barely at half lenght of the movie.

I watch Korean noirs because they still retain the gritty, dirty feel of true hard-boiled style that american movies seem to have lost. Still, this one is plagued by a lot of mcguffins and a quirky sense of humor, with plot twist like elbows in the gut and flashbacks that kick in like unexpected acid trips. It's a little bit of too much but if you can laugh at it, you'll be laughing all the time.

H.P.L., for some reason I´m not being able to quote or to post anything with images from my computer at work. But "Chef" is quite fun to watch. It reminded me a little bit of Little Miss Sunshine, as it shares a common theme of family members learning how to bond. I recommend it!

Why are some of these superhero films so dull these days?

I strongly recommend this one - it´s a documentary about Vik Muniz, a Brazilian artist who did a series of portraits of garbage collectors in the dumpsters of Brazil:

Two dimensional characters and stupid plot lines?

Not only that, watching them back to back I felt like I watched the same film twice. here's some basic similarities:

1 Main villain trying to extend his life by supernatural means by trying to take something from the hero (blood - Spider-man, his power - Wolverine)

2 A secondary villain with an agenda against the hero who is also the main villain's henchman (Electro - Spider-man, Viper - Wolverine)

3 The hero is on an hallucinatory guilt trip involving seeing a dead associate that affects his decision making throughout the film (Captain Stacy - Spider-man, Jean Grey - Wolverine)

4 A giant tin can villain with a man inside, set-up by or controlled by the main villain arrives at the end for a big action battle (Rhino - Spider-man, Silver Samurai - Wolverine)

5 The main villain used to be the hero's friend (Harry - Spider-man, Old man Yashida - Wolverine)

At least Hugh Jackman is a good actor and has some charisma. This new spider man dude sucks!!!!

Yeah there's nothing wrong with Jackman's performance, the only thing I would say is the dialogue was not as Loganesque as I would have liked, not enough bubs! There was the "Go f**k yourself pretty boy" and a couple more but the best line was when he was finishing off the old man in the Silver Samurai suit with his bone claws stuck in him ready to throw him through a hole in wall and out of the building: "You asked me to come say goodbye...sayonara!"

The guy playing spider-man does suck.

Another thing about the Spidey film, the dialogue between Peter and Gwen in their many boring romantic scenes was substandard and very hard to hear, what's with these mumbling actors nowadays?

I tried to watch this because it was filmed in Pittsburgh, but about 20 minutes in I was bored silly.

I thought it was watchable, not bad.

Doesn't Rosemund Pike look weird these days with the permanently surprised look?

I don't know Pittsburgh, but I wondered where it was so I noticed the stadium name and looked it up. Pirates eh? :madra:

Reacher was better than I expected it to be. Wouldn't mind a sequel. Better than the overrated M:I4. As far as Wolverine goes, it could have been better but it's not flat out awful like the one with Liev Schrieber.
