EagleMoon
http://i.huffpost.com/gen/3591656/images/o-BROOKLYN-facebook.jpg Checked this out for Mrs. B's sake. She thought it was great. RottenTomatoes shows 97% approval off 222 reviews. I thought it was a little slow, a little predictable but not too much of either. Believable actors and story. http://i.gzn.jp/img/2015/12/15/star-trek-beyond-trailer/top.jpg Still doesn't feel like Star Trek to me and I still feel that Karl Urban is the only one that does very well. Having said that, I was entertained and this is a million times better than that Benedict Khan crap that preceded it. Good tribute towards the end to Nimoy and acknowledgment of TOS crew & cast. This might be better than the first reboot. Side note: Don't know what the feisty albino chick looks like under all that make up but I think she might be pretty hot. :P Didn't feel like Star Trek to me either. Fair action movie, but that's it. The sequence with the ship in Yorktown was cool but that's about it.

An even more pessimistic view would be this one that I have: The last two Next Gen movies felt like Star Trek BUT it didn't matter because I disliked both. Part 10 was fairly boring from what I remember. I do remember falling asleep for a little bit in the cinema though. Part 9 I didn't like at all. It wasn't as bad as Cumberbatch Khan but I'll never watch it again.

They were too dark, which is a big problem with the new series, on top of the stupid alternative timeline.

JohnnyBlaze
The Disney Tarzan remains my favourite. Never saw it. I liked the 80s one, Greystoke. There were big changes from the book but as a movie unto itself, I liked it quite a bit.

That One Guy
A rather good movie to me. I noticed that "the guy playing Nikola Tesla really looked like David Bowie"... and it was

It is nicely made, but a bit slow, and nothing really happens, tho I like Christoph Waltz, that plays the bad guy Captain Rom better then Alexander Skarsgård, that plays Tarzan. But I like all movies that Waltz is in, he is a awesome actor. I have seen him in:TarzanInglourious BasterdsDjango Unchained And he plays similar kind of guy in all of those movies, and I just love it!

condemned2bfree
True Lies Had never seen it before. A couple of cool stunts, a hilarious Paxton, and Curtis in undies sexy dancing give it about 20-25 minutes of goodness and keep it from being a complete failure. The other 2 hours are uninspired, predictable fluff. Grade: C- Another film where Paxton steals the limelight. He is great in this, weezly and hilarious. I was honestly, looking forward to the next scene with him in, while watching this. Mr Paxton put such life into his lines, where as co stars seemed to drain life. He's going to be missed.
