I never felt that the girl (whatever her name was) was ever in any danger or troubled. Everything seemed a little bit too...easy. It wasn't bad but I expected more, especially from Spielberg. Saw it twice and found it exceptional and the new songs are fantastic, a notable upgrade from the awful Human Again they put on the special edition. MickI liked it I personally found it very creative, the expanded plot added depth, the sets and costumes were extravagant, the comedy never hit a wrong note, the casting was top notch, the score was stunning. Simple premise, worth a watch. Grade: B http://cdn.miramax.com/media/assets/get-carter-500x733-v2_approved.jpgStallone's had better and worse. This flick from 2000 has an older Sly still beating people barehanded but he's not screaming and moaning all over the place (a la Rocky/Rambo) while doing so. Good! The below average soundtrack and forced stylish shots make this movie suffer. Sure, it's a remake but it's not a failure IMHO.
