^Part 3 is better than it has any right to be. The proposed mashing of it and Jump Street is wrong though. Come up with a NEW idea for once, Sony!

That mash up could be fun...if it had a good script and a modest budget but it will be another HUGE blockbuster.

I loved MiB3. Great fun!

Zodiac (2007) I had seen it years ago but I had forgotten how good Mark Ruffalo is in it as an investigator. Soooo creepy. It makes you wonder if they will ever know for sure who the killer really is.

"ANT-MAN" this last Sat. and The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies" tonight. I didn't see that one at the movies. I saw the first two on release. Decided to wait til they came out to buy 'em and they were 'extended' as I thought they'd be.http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Movies-%20TV/couchpotato-tv.gif

The_Purge_%E2%80%93_Anarchy_Poster.jpg

Haven't seen that or the first one. Are they any good?

I haven't seen that one, but I absolutely hated the first one.

I read a brief plot synopsis and it sounds like an old episode of Star Trek (original series)...the one with Landru and the townsfolk go nuts at a certain time of day during a festival or something. The one in which they keep saying "You are not of the body". This'll make total sense if you saw the episode.

((Edited to add: the Trek episode was quality. Not sure if it'd pass as a 21st century movie under certain writers/directors))

They could use that same poster for 90% of Neeson's movies, just change the title.

Any good?

It's slightly better than the horrible Non Stop. Gotta admit, I'm getting sick of the Charles Bronson shtick of his. Good thing his next movie is the latest from Scorsese.

I read interesting trivia I found out yesterday on the Wiki article on the movie. Apparently, his character was played by The Dude Jeff Bridges in 8 Million Ways To Die. There's been a number of books with that character.

District 9

I was born in South Africa! It was interesting to watch as in many ways it reflects the time period in which my family lived their, the apartheid, and it handles these themes really well. I liked the theme, message and story more than the actual movie itself, mind you.
