Chinatown, 1974. Great film. Best line imo is not "Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown" but rather "Politicians ugly buildings and whores all get respectable if they last long enough." hahaha.

Miyazaki is my favourite director in any medium in history. Phenomenal artist!

He's not my favorite but he definitely needs to be mentioned when talking about THE BEST directors of all time. And I wouldn't disagree with anyone calling him a genius.

This was actually really awesome!

 

I remember reading a comic with Deadpool in it like 20 years ago (maybe more??) and it had Cable and co. in it. At that time I thought he was a Spider Man rip off but he's his own thing now.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a big anime fan either. But I do like the old Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets and Speed Racer tv shows (besides a very few select anime movies).

I also really love Ponyo. Underrated if you ask me, it is perfect for small children and young at heart adults!

 

Kiki's Delivery Service is one of his most tender films as well. Used to be my favourite of his films, in fact!

It was interesting! They lived in my daughter's room for years in the 00's so I left the TV on.

PROS: They seem to have a deep commitment to their music and performing, and each other. I didn't realize that they had had to deal with the standard manager taking advantage of young kids contract and lost gazillions of dollars. They finally bought him out and he went to jail for associated crimes. (Rush got soooo lucky with Ray Danniels .. .)

 

CONS: I have had BSB songs stuck in my head all day . . . :D

It's not in colour (it never was), but the level of detail is excruciatingly complex. This box set is perfect, as it is printed almost double the size of the original! One of my favourite reading experiences ever, especially as I am neither a comic or manga reader.

 

Very immersive.
