Lorraine
Hard to know where to put this item. It made me laugh (even though it's not really funny but, being Catholic, the irony was too rich not to), it didn't really make my day, but it didn't piss me off or make me sad either, so I opted to put it here. In my neck of the woods, right now there's a man on the roof of a local Catholic church threatening to jump off.
Chronos
Date night with the lovely, badazz Mrs. Chronos!
Chronos
Took the grand-spawn to a pumpkin patch, got lost in a corn maze, and enjoyed a hayride with them. After we returned them to their parents, Mrs. Chronos had our second date night of the weekend with appetizers and craft cocktails at one of our favorite haunts.

x1yyz
I took the scenic route home after my errands and drove through gorgeous redwood forests. One of the most beautiful things in the world is a redwood forest just after it rains, with moss and ferns growing in the understory. The smell is incredible as well. And to make it even better, redwood forests here exist alongside live oak forests, another fantastically beautiful landscape. I'm so lucky that all of this is literally a couple miles from my house. They look like this: http://previews.123rf.com/images/welcomia/welcomia1505/welcomia150500017/39558026-Giant-Redwoods-Forest-Northern-California-United-States-Forest-Scenery--Stock-Photo.jpg

OldRUSHfan
:musicnote: Finding My Way :musicnote: If I'm receiving you correctly, you're referring to the Song on the first album. That album is part of the mental process leading to my Username on the web since '96. I LOVE THAT ALBUM!!! All the songs on it, and I remember the first time I saw that cover also! I was still in that early pubescent mind-set of most males at that time that anything PINK was GAY or having to do with Homosexual behavior. I still didn't get the album until Christmas of '76, as a gift from a relative. I LOVE OLD RUSH!!! The other half, was when I finally got on Message boards, I was almost always the OLDEST FAN THERE. So OldRUSHfan evolved quite quickly...Thanks, rhyv, for this trip down 'memory lane'! Thanks for letting ME Relax! http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/Clown%20banana.gif
goose
I'm in Portland and got to spend the day with one of my best and oldest friends (we met in 1993), then the two of us visited another old mutual friend (met her in 1994), and topped it off by seeing Ghost again in concert.:cheerleader:

x1yyz
(Yesterday...) A group of friends and I got dressed up and did a Zombie Pub Crawl. It took place on a street with a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars. The funnest part was that we were some of the first people there, and it was fun to walk around and see the reactions from other people who didn't know what was going on http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o371/x1yyz/zombie%20group_zpsmq0ycfaf.jpg

JohnnyBlaze
Thought this was pretty cool...Mrs. B showed me some old family photos. This one's of her maternal grandparents on their wedding day. Late 20s or early 30s but definitely before WW2. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c107/andrewq2112/Mobile%20Uploads/image_18.jpeg

Mrs. B's grandfather was a police officer then...pretty interesting to me to see that he was armed with just a katana sword. Somehow that's more intimidating to me than a modern day officer's revolver, baton, and stun gun. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c107/andrewq2112/Mobile%20Uploads/image_20.jpeg [Mrs. B's mum is the little girl in the center.]
