GeddyLeeRoth
I haven't watched too much TV since my freshman year in HS--and I'm 36 now, so there has been a definite lapse. But heres what I have picked up on that holds my interest greatly: LOST Venture Bros. Family Guy Seinfeld Sopranos Timeless classics for me: WKRP in Cincinatti M*A*S*H Star Trek--the originals

I was a little too old for that one but my brother watched it faithfully and I watched it with him a few times. I hated the animation; it was the first anime I had ever seen. Someday it might make it into a feature film. Didn't their airplane turn into a firebird or something?

Didn't their airplane turn into a firebird or something? i thought Battle of the Planets/G-Force/Gatchaman DID become a feature film last year [although, it was cgi i think]...either that or its coming out soon. interestingly, the show [battle of the Planets] that aired in the states wasn't how it originally was aired in Japan [Gatchaman out here]. that is, in the stateside version, there was a little robot dog and r2d2 type droid providing narrative before returning from commercials. those were put in because the original anime was thought too violent and unfriendly for u.s. tv and so that robot and dog-bot were added plus some scenes were deleted entirely. great show nonetheless. my top 3 action-oriented cartoons, in no particular order, would have to be Battle of The Planets, Johnny Quest, and Dungeons & Dragons. PuppetKing2112
1. The Simpsons - I know they're crap nowadays but I grew up watching them and their prime seasons (which for me extend further than most people, I'd actually say they were at their peak until season 15 or 16) were the most consistently brilliant thing on TV. 2. Freaks & Geeks - I first checked out the DVD because I had heard that this show had a ton of Rush references, I'm not gonna lie. But this show was phenomenal. And of course it was the launching pad for the careers of Judd Apatow, James Franco, and Seth Rogen. 3. SportsCenter - ESPN all day. PTI gets an honorable mention too. 4 and 5. The Daily Show/The Colbert Report
