1-0-0-1-0-0-1
Today, the Detroit Lions became the first team to go winless in a 16-game season. Unless you're a rival of that team, you have to feel for those players and coaches.

Modest Man From Mandrake
I have huge sympathy for the Lions. It's a record that no team ever wants to have. Well they can only go up from here.
theredtamasrule
And despite the record they didn't play like the worst team in the league this year, let alone ever.

kazzman
I was kinda hoping that they'd go 0-16, but that was mostly just so I could say that I saw a team go winless in my lifetime (I was -10 when the Buccaneers went 0-14). Though as a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan, I can say that I feel your pain to all the Lions fans out there. Though it kinda makes you wonder if Dante Culpepper is regretting turning down the offer that the Steelers gave him early in the season...

I'd like to borrow the Detroit sign, change it to "Memphis" and post it there. As for the Lions, I don't see how things will improve soon.
