Why are you pricks mentioning Rush when it asks "...besides Rush"?

Favourite band besides Rush, Porcupine Tree.

Because Rush are nowhere near my favourite band and to exclude them felt like an indication I might love them more than I actually do.

And good call on Purcupine Tree. In Absentia is an amazing album and I will try more soon.

I'm of that opinion. I find then easier to get into after listening to his solo work and it's a slow but enjoyable journey! I have plenty of time to listen to more.

The Black Crowes. Nearly as important in my life as Rush.

Both bands literally saved me a few different times from chucking it all, in my adolescence and very young adulthood.

I've played every studio album at least twice and they got me through a rough patch last year.

So much so I played them more than Nightwish on the day of the concert!

I've spent the whole year "about to get their stuff" then got distracted.

I have no idea why.

But yeah...fantastic band.

Haha, yes- I remember that!

I don't know if you've heard Warpaint or not...if you have t, I think you may really like that one, just as much as their '90s run.

Yes that stood out to me! My favourites are Amorica and the one that came before (sorry name escapes me!). Loved the last one as well (was that a double).

Sheesh...I need to get back to them.
