I saw these guys a few years ago at a happier time in my life.

Their music has always been very cathartic and therapeutic for me.

Sometimes I sleep in that t-shirt because it's oversized.

The Beatles

In no particular order:

Pink Floyd

Ozzy era Sabbath

Zep

The Doors

CCR/Fogerty

Eagles

Deep Purple (especially MK II but MK III is good too)

Jimi

As asked, I left out Rush who are in my top bands as listed above. There are plenty of others I like a helluva lot that are one notch below those listed. Some of those are The Who, The Stones, Petty, Traffic, Robin Trower, ZZ Top (before Eliminator when they were a real blues/rock band), Stevie Ray, Jeff Healey, Cream. Ozzy solo, War (you're missing out if you don't know anything from these guys beyond Why Can't We Be Friends and Low Rider), Metallica, Styx, etc., etc.

Hear, hear!

I also like All Day Music and Deliver the Word. And the double live album they put out in '77, I think it was, is top notch.

They're a great live act! I've seen them three times.
