Not close to the best Bowie song. Not even in the top 30 Bowie songs.

Not close to the best Queen song. Not even in the top 20.

Probably the best song done together, and it's a fine song.

But (without actually looking) I'm sure I can think of 50 songs just by those two artists I like more.

But it's very good, I do agree on that.

I cannot argue against this. It’s not my favorite from Queen, and doesn’t quite make my top ten, but certainly comes close. Is it my favorite from Bowie? Feels like a cop out answer since Queen in on it, but in all honesty it very well might be.

The trolling is undeniable at this point.

It's a good song, but IMO, the production makes it sound kind of thin and tinny.  Not sure what I consider the GOAT of rock songs, but it has to have more bass and bottom than Under Pressure.  Probably my pick would be  Gimme Shelter by the Stones but I'm sure there are others I would put with it.

I had time to reflect while sleeping on this. In a world where The Big Money and Marathon exist it's hard to say Under Pressure is THE GREATEST. Certainly Top Twenty.

I thought about lyric highlights from the song we all love.

Under pressure that burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets

'Cause love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of caring about ourselves

For we who grew up tall and proud
In the shadow of the mushroom cloud

Alright stop, collaborate and listen

Doo buh dum ba beh beh

Brian May hardly feature’s on this track,  so it’s not even in my Queen Top 40 😮

🤔and TBH I’ve never really understood the appeal of Bowie for some reason like Peter Gabriel solo, I can appreciate their work but am not compelled to own it.

This morning Mark Goodman summarized the fascinating story of how this great song came to be.

This goes more in depth.
