Well, the administration at my school isn't very helpful. My GPA is 2.5 but I have to have a 2.7 in grad school in order to get financial aid.

 

Tried to register for a summer course to raise my GPA up to that minimum so I can go full time again in the Fall. Delays, delays, delays!

 

I want my diploma yesterday so I can get on with life!

...the irony of deciding not to work last night (when I should have) because I had a bad headache and just wanted to sleep. Woke up this morning with a worse headache, and the work I should have done last night will be piled up on top of what I'm supposed to work on today. Great. sarcasm.gif

As a long-term headache sufferer, here is a sure bet for getting rid of that terrible headache AND get energy to tackle all that work.

 

4 ibuprofen tablets

2 Tylenol tablets

two or three shots of espresso (whatever your system can handle)

 

I guarantee you will be painfree and full of energy in about 20-30 minutes.

Yeah, well the drummer (Paul) left a while ago and we got a new one. But Paul invited me to play with his new band, but the singer/guitarist (Andy) in the old band didn't like that. eyesre4.gif I was quite happy to play in both bands, but Andy told me to choose, basically. wacko.gif So I chose the other band.

I wouldn't have told Andy at all, except the reheasal with Paul's band was straight after the one with Andy's, therefore Andy didn't have to drive me home.

Me and Paul, plus two others. An excellent guitarist, Dave, and vocalist Stu, who also plays a bit of guitar.

We don't have any vids or anything recorded yet, but so far we've been playing stuff like Radar Love, Won't Back Down (Tom Petty) and Rocky Mountain Way. smile.gif

Been doing a little bit of housecleaning here tonight, closing some of the popular threads that have gotten HUGE, and starting new versions of them. Most of those are in Grand Designs. For this thread, since it consists of actual conversations as opposed to just being a word game, I split off the last couple of week's worth of posts and made that the start of the new thread.

I hate my job and all the old nagging bitches at work. I can't stand any of them. This is why I always feel like I have no one to talk to.
