There WAS another show he was on, maybe even better than that one.

Yup

Best sitcom ever IMO. McLeod’s and Ted Knight’s exchanges were always laugh out loud funny.

Yeah he was a pretty good actor. I didn't like the Love Boat (I'm not big on cruise ships) but I used to see it sometimes because my mum liked it

RIP

You DO know that the MTM show wasn't set in Boston, right?

Aww, shoot. I loved him as Murray on MTM, he was awesome and so good with his facial expressions. The Love Boat was probably a great paycheck though. RIP. :rose:

I'm sorry, to hear, see, and read this. I remember him on "the Mary Tyler Moore Show", and "the Love Boat", and he was a great actor. He will be missed, and remembered. My condolences, to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Gavin. Edited by Derek19

When I was a kid, Saturday nights were The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. Then a flip over to Channel 11 in NYC (WPIX) for The Honeymooners, Star Trek TOS and The Twilight Zone.

RIP Gavin.
