Kurt had a good night. And without stating the obvious, someone`s got to post this...

Too bad Cooper P. I. was banned so fast.

He livened up the place.

I watched that a few days ago. I'm not made of stone so need to give it at least a week before opening up the tear ducts again.

A monumental version! I think Cash's life story gave him the credibility to sing those lyrics.

This may be the greatest music video of all time (Superconductor and Time Stand Still excluded, of course). Certainly the most poignant and moving.

Here's an example of both the original and the remake versions being great. Tool did what any good band should do when remaking a song -- they paid homage to the original while putting their unique sound and style into it.

I would say the same thing qualifies for this original and remake......

I'm not gonna say the remake by Jeff Healey is better than the original, but imo it's every bit as good.............

Here's some (apparent) heresy. NIN's version is better.

Even Trent disagrees with you and says it's no longer his song.

I love PJ. They're top 5 GOAT band list for me but Willie's is better.

While STP's "Dancing Days" is good, it pales to the original. PALES!!!!!

Holy Lords of Kobol! I must be listening to a new mix of New York Groove done by The Sweet. Just when I thought The Sweet may have recorded it first I hear them riffing Alicia Keys' Empire State of Mind. According to Wikipedia a band called Hello recorded it first, I'll report back.
