Bwahaha, Karen's boss was derisively nicknamed Squid, tough but smart, very dedicated to her work, loved horses (Paso Fino, I believe). Definitely not a Rush or prog fan.

Everytime I see the title for this thread I think of my one friend! He was in the Navy for several years and a nickname for Navy sailors is being a "squid." It can be fond or insulting depending on who it's coming from. He didn't mind us calling him that but from a Marine or something, no way.

 

I would recommend Rush to this squid but he got into Rush in the 70s, around the same time I did! Great guy and we still keep in touch to this day.

They are apparently quite intelligent, so I sometimes have issues eating the poor little yummy bastards. :( :drool:

My best friend in High School got me into Rush. Interestingly enough (or rather, hardly at all) this same best friend also had me try eating squid for the first (and only) time. I remember that I didn't think it was all that bad.

 

Therefore, I'm certain squids would enjoy Rush. Or not. Wait. They're deaf?
