Late 80s for me were

Megadeth

Public enemy

Red hot chile peppers

Janes addiction

Grateful dead

Steel pulse

Overlooked Jane's Addiction. Jane Says and Mountain Song definitely belong on my list.

Rhyta, thanks for posting this. It's a great song. I really liked it. :)

You're right about it being catchy.

Thanks for putting up the video, I love the roller skating in it, so 80's :D

Not allowed in the U.S. by the production company....I'd like to see it also...

Whenever anyone wants to feel sorry for themselves, think of that drummer. He has my absolute admiration.

Ha! Joe Elliott without a shirt on. He wouldn't dare do that on stage now lol.

Why not?

Well, you can tell he's put on some weight over time and his face looks a bit ragged now. I'm guessing by that the rest of him is nothing to show off. Phil Collen on the other hand is in great shape for a 60 year old man and he still performs shirtless. But he's been a health nut for over 30 years so it might be easier for him to maintain his body.

How about "19"?

"In World War II the average age of the combat soldier was twenty-six

In Vietnam he was nineteen

In inininininin Vietnam he was nineteen...n-n-n-n-n-nineteen"

More Howard Jones, Lorraine...

You can look at the menu, but you just can't eat

You can feel the cushion, but you can't have a seat

You can dip your foot in the pool, but you can't have a swim

You can feel the punishment, but you can't commit the sin

And you want her, and she wants you

We want everyone

And you want her and she wants you

No one, no one, no one ever is to blame

I've had an awful day. :(

Yesterday too. :(

I'm going to cheer myself up. :)

Here's one of my favorites when needing a lift ;) (The The "Perfect"..."Oh what a perfect day to think about my silly world; my feet are firmly screwed to the floor, what is there to fear from such a regular world?...):
