Pink Floyd and Bowie are my first thoughts...but i generally don’t want it in there. PF & Bowie could pull it off because they were otherworldly talents

Sanborn on Young Americans ain’t bad either. Love Somebody Up There Likes Me.

I'm always shocked how many classic rock records David Sanborn played on. Dude's a jazz sax player through and through, but rock musicians seemed to love having him on their records. He played Bari sax on tenth avenue freeze out too!

Great player.

I am gonna say that the greatest rock sax player as a studio musician is michael brecker. His biography is sick

Looked him up. Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, and more. Awesome.

Both those guys are BEASTS. I'm not sure but I think Michael Brecker is dead now, or it might be his trumpet playing brother.

Why not? Bruce Springsteen had amazing moments with Clarence Clemens.

I didn't realise rock had to be closeminded.

I don't like Bruce.

He's a massive Overkill fan

Imo nobody did the sax and horns in general better than that strange group named after a dildo.....

Drink scotch whisky all night long!

I never realized there was a dildo named 'Dream Theater'. Or are you only referring to the drummer?

It's been a while since I hit the adult stores...maybe need to update my stock.

Yep Michael is dead. Randy is still alive afaik.

Michael played my college in the late 80's and as luck would have it i caught him.

Zappa parliament funkadelic john lennon rick james etc etc. He must be up there on the list of players who played on the most great records ever

I like the saxophone. I don't think I want it in metal, but I like when it's used sparingly in a few songs...Dancin' in the Moonlight, Same Old Song and Dance...love it there.

Earl sees this shit in his nightmares:
