bluefox4000
They are One of my fav bands. admittedly though they are now down the list. Actually i should narrow down. 80's Rush are one of my fav bands. Mick
Segue Myles
Not even close at this point in time. But my taste goes in cycles. I'm also not a believer in that foolish "True Rush Fan" crap that certain ones troll around this place in some elitist fashion. But I agree with Mick, if we round it down just to era's, Fly By Night through to Counterparts is one of my all time favourite era's in music of any band. But right now, they aren't in regukar rotation and won't be for a long while, aside from the odd album spin.
Narps
Yes. Rush 1 and Yes 1A. Has never changed and at this point it certainly won't...

JohnnyBlaze
I'm also not a believer in that foolish "True Rush Fan" crap that certain ones troll around this place in some elitist fashion. You like some, you dislike some. Most of us are like that. Very very few TRFers actually like EVERYTHING from Rush. In this poll of just 21st century Rush songs, only 1 out of 43 voters liked ALL of it: http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/102641-all-21st-century-rush-songs-vs-each-other/ ONE!
IwillchooseFreeWill
Having posted that all these other bands pop up. Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Queen, Jellyfish, Fountains of Wayne, Ben Folds, etc., etc. how do I pick 3 or 5 or 10?
rocket ignites
Rush has been my favorite band since 1989. Only King's X has come close.
J2112YYZ
They've been my favorite since the mid 90s and that hasn't changed. Iron Maiden is my second favorite. They're the only band that ever challenges Rush for the top spot. But no matter what, Rush always seems to remain there.
Ancient Ways
Yes, they are still. Others near the top are sabbath, zep, AiC, and STP
Fridge
Rush from 74-87 are definitely one of my faves, though I haven't listened to them much lately.... Other faves of mine that are in a sort of loose rotation are: Manic Street Preachers(first three albums plus Journal for Plague Lovers) The Wildhearts New Model Army Iron Maiden (80s) Slayer (first three albums) Metallica (first three albums) Yes
Lorraine
No, they are only one of them, but not my most favorite. Believe it or not, without many of you TRFers, Rush loses a lot of appeal for me. Edited June 10, 2017 by Lorraine

Lorraine
No, they are only one of them, but not my most favorite. Believe it or not, without many of you TRFers, Rush loses a lot of appeal for me. What I'm trying to say is that this place has saved me so many times. You will never know how many good times I've had on here, and how much I've laughed on here. And it's on account of Rush that any one of us is here. Rush is special to me because of that. Without many of you, Rush would just be another band with good music.

Lucas
Rush is in that top tier of bands and artists for me .. I listen to them everyday, at least a few songs here and there, if not entire albums .. Despite being a fan since 1977, with such a diverse catalog, their music is always inspiring ..
