  6. Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame and RUSH bassist Geddy Lee’s Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass is a gorgeous, fully illustrated love letter to rock ’n’ roll’s rumbly bottom end, complete with a guided tour of Lee’s extensive vintage bass collection, personal anecdotes, observations and history, from one of the world’s most revered and beloved masters of the instrument. This lavishly illustrated book presents one facet of Lee's own personal journey. The bass guitar has been his passport, his vehicle, his fuel; this book will be his account of a life lived on the stage and a view of the world he’s seen on the road. With contributions from arts journalist Daniel Richler and Lee’s trusted bass tech, John “Skully” McIntosh, with photography by Richard Sibbald, Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass will have something for every reader, from RUSH fans who want to know the inside story of Lee’s relationship with the instrument that has given him so much in his life, to the most knowledgeable musicians and collectors. This will be the definitive book on the bass, from one of the most respected players in history. Aside from the HarperDesign trade edition, there will be limited run of signed and numbered deluxe editions available as well. Yeah... his B & B Bass book coming...I will get it no matter what!...but the preamp for new projects???...I wish he meant musical, not the book only...I really want he plays more all those basses through that preamp as he did a year ago on the Yes' Hall of Fame Induction ....I said I wish.... ;)

  16. What I really wish is that those "new projects" mentioned in Tech21's Ged2112 preamp add come to life and watch him play some of them basses onstage ( any) ever( with any other musicians) as he did with Yes last year.....also his Big Beautiful Book of Bass is due Fall 2018..... Geddy Rocks! :geddy:
  17. Who/What are you referring to? 4 pages of this thread so far and I’ve only seen 2 TRFers who’ve stated that they wish Peart continued. And HOW they said it weren’t even in overly “selfish or ridiculous” ways. Nearly everyone in this thread has accepted Rush’s retirement. Some of those same people are just joking around...because we already accepted Rush’s retirement a while ago and there’s not much else to do but muck about. Exactly....it's a silly argument in the first place. As of now, with no future plans, Rush is "retired". All I'm saying is given that 64/65 is still somewhat "young" now, and given human nature, it's anyone's guess whether "retirement" will be a permanent state. Personally, I still don't think it is. But if I'm wrong, I don't begrudge Rush anything. he could have saved the "basically" ....I dont like adverbs in general btw....waiting for Geddy's Big and Beautifull Book of Bass...that will make my year music wise.... :geddy:
