  1. I am sorry that Matthew Perry is gone, but Married With Children trumps all for '90s sitcoms.

  2. Dream Theater- Dream Theater I actually think this is close to perfection. Not sure why it's not a bigger fan fave. Dream Theater- The Astonishing Still can't bring myself to come close to finishing this. I moved along quick. Dream Theater- Images And Words Much better!

  3. RIP Richard Moll! I loved Night Court. His facial expressions and comedic timing as Bull were sooo on point. Good at being goofy. I was surprised to see a photo of him today with a full head of hair and looking quite good and distinguished.

  4. RIP, Matthew Perry! I liked him in the new Odd Couple he was in for a few years. So many substance abuse issues; I was glad when he started to get sober. It seems like it would be hard to be unknown one day and so famous a few months later from Friends; he dealt with a lot of challenges for sure.

  5. Yeah, when I was in the military, one guy was always volunteering to be part of a crew finishing a building involving glue. Later I found him in the toilet with his wrists slashed. We managed to save him. Needless to say, he got discharged. Btw, how can anybody find 'Friends' funny? Total crap.

  6. Innocent people died . Wholesome people. It happened. The unthinkable that will never be able to be explained. God Bless all the victims and their families .

  9. He was in quite a few things but probably best known for his role as Bull on Night Court. He was 80.

  10. It was just me joking because that album in particular has some crazy high notes that I think are far more ambitious than anyone gives him credit for. HOWEVER YOU CAN SHUT UP MR "I HATE THE SINGING IN QUEENSRYCHE" YA BIATCH

  13. Yes, the studio audience must've been subjected to laughing gas.

  14. Neil had a lot of those kinds of songs in the second half of RUSH's albums, good ideas for social commentary that didn't quite translate to good songs for the band. No matter what fans say.

  15. Long ago, I once turned on the show. After 5 minutes, I turned it off. 100% uninteresting. Years later, I did the exact same thing with The Big Bang Theory, although I may have lasted only 3 minutes.

  16. A bit? In the same way Boy George's 80s persona was a bit gay.

  19. Another horrible atrocity. I feel so sorry for the communities affected. It's a pity this f*cker didn't just top himself first to save all this heartbreak.

  20. I'm glad this is settled for the town and the area. What a horrific experience for them- I hope some kind of healing can begin.

  21. Are the previous two or three albums any good? I came to the Stones very late in life, they weren't metal enough for me. I knew they existed of course, I just didn't care. To me the Stones ended with Undercover, not that I gave a damn.

  22. I saw an interview with James where he admitted he can't sing the stuff off Images and Words too well anymore. It kind of came off like he didn't want to sing those songs now. With Portnoy back there's probably no way they don't play something off that. I'm guessing he probably can't do much of anything off Awake, Scenes or Six Degrees too well anymore either. It will be interesting to see the set selections. I don't think rotating the sets is happening this time around.

  23. Savatage- Sirens And The Dungeons Are Calling Still one of my fave Savatage albums (though that's more for its raw charms and youthful exuberance, because they have far grander and more ambitious albums).

  29. Yes, but the message is powerful, although I'm not agreeing with Hillary's vision of 'It takes a village' mind you.

  31. When you throw out a bunch all at once you know there's going to be disagreements. 'Virtuality' is great apart from the chorus. 'You Bet Your Life' and 'Carve Away the Stone' are similar, both having interesting aspects, nice lyric choice and a great solo respectively. 'Wish Them Well' and 'Halo Effect' are a part of the whole story making the listener think about the entire work. 'Bravest Face' has a cool sing-along feel to it. 'Everyday Glory' is one of those tear-jerkers Rush has become famous for, although in this case, a bit popish.

  34. T4E was a killer tour, the best I've seen of theirs. And I love the drumming video Neil put out for it, A Work In Progress. I actually enjoy every T4E song in that context.

  36. This is Dream Theater announcing their retirement without Dream Theater announcing their retirement. Was a lot more shocked a few days ago than I was in 2010. Don't much care about this one way or the other. Whatever works. Feel bad for Mangini (one of the good people.) I was surprised when Charlie got fired, but understood after hearing him live. I was gutted when Kevin Moore left, but understood after hearing Chroma Key. I was over the moon when Derek got dumped and Jordan joined the band. Mike Mangini was the right drummer for the band in 2010 even though I'd have preferred Marco. I'm hoping for something ground breaking but I probably shouldn't be. I doubt there's going to be a paradigm shift at this point. Portnoy probably adds another $50 to my next Dream Theater ticket. If they venture out of their comfort zone, it will be totally worth it.

  37. With Rush's "Test For Echo Tour" being their first without an opening, and a backup band, group, and artist, maybe, it's one reason why "Geddy", "Alex", and "Neil" sounded so well, and looked tight as ever. On, and from "Counterparts", "Snakes & Arrows", and "Clockwork Angels", I've had "the Speed of Love", "Bravest Face", and "Halo Effect" as their lowest songs. "You Bet Your Life", is bottom ten on my list. If anyone hasn't been following, so far, here is Goose (Allen)'s list. 156. Bravest Face, song #10/13, "Snakes & Arrows (2007)" 157. Halo Effect, song #6/12, "Clockwork Angels (2012)" 158. Wish Them Well, song #11/12, "Clockwork Angels (2012)" 159. Carve Away the Stone, song #11/11, "Test For Echo (1996)" 160. You Bet Your Life, song #10/10, "Roll the Bones (1991)" 161. Everyday Glory, song #11/11, "Counterparts (1993)" 162. Virtuality, song #8/11, "Test For Echo (1996)" 163. the Color of Right, song #4/11, "Test For Echo (1996)" 164. the Speed of Love, song #7/11, "Counterparts (1993)" 165. Madrigal, song #5/6, "A Farewell to Kings (1977)"

  40. Anyone watch the Global Series games from Australia? Saw some highlights, had a good crowd. Preseason began today, didn't watch but heard some on the radio, Avs lost to the Wild but it was close and they had 2nd string goalies in.
