So......just to keep things straight. Here's how the various positions break down:

Neil is Retired:

Neil Peart

Olivia Peart

Lorne Wheaton (Neil drum tech)

Neil Isn't Retired:

Geddy Lee

Donna Halper

Andy Curran (Ole GM -- citing contractual committment)

Will keeping adding as folks weigh in.

Where did Donna Halper weigh in? I missed that one I guess.

OK, sorry, I just saw your other thread where you quoted her; thanks for putting that up! Very confusing times in the Rush world!

I find it amazing how people take a comment from his daughter and blow it all out of proportion. So he doesn't want to tour anymore. This is not news. He didn't say he wouldn't play drums ever again.

I bet his daughter actually said "re' tired" (as in "really tired"). You know how little kids don't fully articulate words.

Or perhaps his Aston Martin Vanquish needed new tires (or, in the Queen's English, tyres).

Sigh........just retire Neil. end the idiocy.

Mick

Yeah, so we can get back to more important topics on this forum.

Like what Decade Permanent waves is from.

Mick

If that question is ever answered to everyone's satisfaction, the forum will close

All the more reason to discuss it. Who knows how many angles we might have missed when we previously debated the issue?
