BlairC45
Ok maybe this as been posted before (but don't shot me :bang bang: I'm a Newbie here) With all the talk about the new set-list for the upcoming Tour (R40) which songs will be played and so forth so my question would be. If Rush did a set-list from the past which Tours would it be from? Mine would be either Moving Pictures Tour 1981 or the Grace Under Pressure Tour 1984 :rush: :Alex: :Neil: :geddy: Edited February 17, 2015 by BlairC45
EagleMoon
Definitely Moving Pictures. That was the best one ever, IMO.

Geddy's Soul Patch
Not that it would really be possible, but the Hemispheres Tour setlist would be a semi-religious experience for me lol
bordercollie
If Rush did a setlist from the past, let it be the Caress of Steel show at Massey Hall since that tour is such a mystery, and so we could know if Lamneth was actually played or not.
Jaminbenb
Not that it would really be possible, but the Hemispheres Tour setlist would be a semi-religious experience for me lol Yep....I'd need depends if they did that one again!
GrandDesigner
If Rush did a setlist from the past, let it be the Caress of Steel show at Massey Hall since that tour is such a mystery, and so we could know if Lamneth was actually played or not. That song and Making Memories are the only Rush songs that are perpetually unconfirmed as being performed live. So much time has passed that even people who may have attended a CoS probably don't remember if it was or not. I just can't imagine a band releasing their first epic and never playing it live, no matter how successful or not the album was.

gudbuytjane
I think either Hemispheres or the Permanent Waves main tour. I like the Moving Pictures set, but I mean, really: Permanent Waves Tour 2112 (excludes "Oracle: The Dream")FreewillBy-Tor And The Snow Dog (abbreviated version)XanaduThe Spirit Of RadioNatural ScienceA Passage To BangkokThe TreesCygnus X-1: Book I: The Voyage (abbreviated version)Cygsnu X-1: Book II: Hemispheres (abbreviated version)Closer To The HeartBeneath, Between And Behind (abbreviated version)Jacob's LadderMedley: Working Man (Contained a Reggae introduction.) Finding My Way Anthem Bastille Day In The MoodDrum Solo Though, admittedly, the Permanent Waves warm up tour, which was essentially the Hemispheres setlist with early versions of TSOR and Freewill would have been pretty wild. edm2112
Yeah, I'd have to say the MP tour would have been perfect for me had I been alive then...They stopped in my town 4/18/81 at the Mobile Municipal Auditorium...I'm currently attempting to convince the city council to not tear the arena down...too much musical history in there. 2112 (Overture/Temples)FreewillLimelightCygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres Part I: PreludeBeneath Between & BehindCamera EyeYYZDrum SoloBroon's BaneThe Trees XanaduThe Spirit of RadioRed BarchettaCloser to the HeartTom SawyerVital SignsNatural ScienceWorking ManCygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres Part IV: ArmageddonBy-tor & the Snow DogIn the EndIn the Mood2112 (Grand Finale) Encore:La Villa Strangiato.

Disk98
Time Machine. I know a lot of people hated the first set, but I happen to think Stick It Out and BU2B are awesome. Faithless isn't bad, either.
