  1. I am older and love knowing the setlist. Shit, I created a playlist on my ipod that has the whole show in order to get ready.
  2. I just landed 2 seat in Section A - Row 4. I just sold my seats in Section 108 on stubhub
  3. Wreckers over CA Can never get enough of TCE (seen RB and YYZ live numerous times, TCE once) Ans while I love some Natural Science, have seen that live a bunch BTW - DEW is a basically a wash. Getting a never played song How It Is (which i really like) -- just solidifies it. Set list B is the one for me and it looks like I will be getting it in Greensboro
  4. To be honest I cannot even think of the last time I actually listened to any of the tracks studio version and I listen to some Rush almost every day. So, no I could care less if they played any of it. T4E - is a forgettable album plain and simple.
  5. It appears last nights set had the identical song as opening night. Why the change in the opener? CA to The Anarchist. Also I would have expected a little difference in the first set between the A and C one. Is it that the CA is not in the "B" set, and The Anarchist is in all 3 and they want to open with the same song every night. Personally, I like CA better as an opener, but if it a true A, B, C rotation - I will get set B in Greensboro anyway and no CA.
  6. AFTK - Not Solid? Hemispheres Not Solid? Roll the Bones - Almost Solid? Power Windows - Solid? Lost credibility with those.
  7. Being that the setlist is 100% in reverse chronological order any substitution would either have to be from the same album or the previous/next based on where in the setlist it is. Albums with 3 songs won't have the middle one swapped with a previous/next album (The Anarchist, Closer to the Heart) so I disagree with the quote on CTH, but otherwise most of the rest makes sense I can see - Roll the Bones (with something from Presto)
  8. Something is rotten in Denmark. Where the F is Steve Howe on that list?
  9. Saw Porcupine Tree in a tiny club in Raleigh shortly after Fear of a Blank Planet came out. Really excellent show! Most bands that have been mentioned I have seen. The Three I would seriously not miss if happened. Yes - with JA Genesis -- would love a chance to see them one more time, Abacab tour was one of the best shows I have been at. Pink Floyd - I would pay to see again if Gilmour and Waters reunited
  10. I will play HYF - Tai Shan Presto - Superconductor, Anagram RTB - Neurotica CP - Speed of Love, Cold Fire T4E - Color of Right, Carve Away the Stone VT - Sweet Miracle, Nocturne, Out of the Cradle, The Stars Look Down SA - Spindrift, We Hold on, Bravest Face, TMMB CA - Carnies, Seven Cities, BU2B2 (now it gets tougher) -- BU2B, Wish Them Well
  11. To digress back to the Witch Hunt debate -- absolutely phenomenal lyrics, my personal fave off of MP with The Camera Eye. Limelight is the true weak spot on the album.
  12. Gut Feeling is probably nothing more than some instrumental parts of a medley at most. I would love "In the End"
  13. Biggest surprise to me on what I thought Geddy would say is how low Signals is and how high 2112 is. My List: 1) Hemispheres 2) AFTK 3) Moving Pictures 4) Permanent Waves 5) Signals --- Been really into this one lately, so it has a recent listening bump 6) 2112 --- IMO always been a one sided album. Side one is a masterpiece, Lessons is the only song on side 2 I truly love. 7) Caress of Steel 8) Fly by Night 9) Rush
  14. 1) The Camera Eye 2) Witch Hunt 3) YYZ 4) Tom Sawyer 5) Red Barchetta 6) Vital Signs 7) Limelight
  15. I was totally into Yes and my brother was a Rush fanatic. Somehow, someway the sibling rivalry gave out and we both began to appreciate them both. Although it was about the time of PeW, the album that really kicked me off was AFTK. I would sneak into his room and borrow his album and blast the title track and Xanadu through my headphones.
  16. On Vinyl - All Studio and Live albums through GUP (including Archives) Also - Import -- Rush Through Time All Studio/Live Albums on CD Hemispheres, 2112, AFTK, PeW - own on Cassette also.
  17. I Love it! Better than Power Windows -- that is the rock bottom of the "keyboard" era Rush. Also much better than RTB, VT, CP and TFE will disagree with OP about Presto (love that one as well) In reality there is no such thing as a bad Rush album, some are just less awesome than others.
  18. I seriously broke in a pair of seriously expensive at the time AKG headphones listening to Natural Science when I first grabbed PeW on CD - (around 84). It is truly a masterpiece.
  19. I would like the MP just for the fact that I was there and can't remember a stitch of it. Ya'll know what I am talking about. :smoke:
  20. Could be worse -- put them up against Roll the Bones, Counterparts, Test for Echo Now that is the true trifecta from hell.
  21. I love CA -- I think it has held up well after the initial new album love and constant listen. I would rank both SA and CA up there in 2nd tier right behind the big 3 -- MP, PeW and Hemispheres.
  22. I'd rather not think of an "old school Rush show" for me that is an approximately 2 hour show with some piece of crap opening act such as Riot, Primus, Mr. Big, or Tommy Shaw.
  23. Wouldn't mind if they forgot this album existed and didn't play a single track. One of the worst albums IMO
