Probably the most underrated RUSH LP. I like Carve Away The Stone because "If you could just move yours, I could get working on my own". tongue.gif z7shysterical.gif

Again one of the albums that I followed the pattern of playing as Pratt did. It fortified my playing with 'dancing shoes' from 6 years before as well as jazz standards that I thought no one would get in playing...That said, it was a real tought choice....I ended up going with Driven again because I saw this live & couldn't stop thinking of the driving bass line Geds put on & the hihat feel Pratt played....

Driven is fantastic but my choice is Time and Motion...

The drumming on Time and Motion is unreal, it's a demonstration of otherworldy stickmanship, a Neil clinic. The song itself, reminds me of earlier work from the late 70s early 80s, particularly the guitars, great song...

There's a couple of weird tunes on here in the middle but I rate this one despite some people giving it bad reviews all over the place...

Driven

"Driven to the margin of error

Driven to the edge of control

Driven to the margin of terror

Driven to the edge of a deep dark hole."

Thanks, Neil, I'll walk!!!

Resist, hands down for me, but close behind are Time & Motion and Virtuality, followed by Totem and Dog Years.

Totem pulls at my intellectual heart strings, but so does Colour of Right... I gave it a vote.... and then was saddened to see it gets so little love from the community.

Great, great lyrics.

Take it easy on me now.
