Finbar Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 This my least favourite Rush album in my fairly large collection. Umm.. The title track is decent, but certainly nothing special. Driven, of course, is amazing and catchy. Resist is beautiful. Aside from those three tracks, though, I actually found myself feeling embarassed while listening to Test for Echo. I plan to revisit it eventually because I've been told that it does grow on you. I just don't think this is up to par with anything Rush did in the 70's or 80's.

Listen to the amazing drum & bass coalition at LIMBO Pick the snare that Neil choosed at T4E Grab the noisy guitar solo at DRIVEN Enjoy the verses singed on TOTEM Click into the tomb distortion of TIME & MOTION I havent heard anyone worshiping the record purity of sound of this album I think is one of my favorites by now, thou 10 years ago it wasnt

I love Geddy's bass solo on the Different Stages live version.. if you listen really closely there is this guy in the background that yells, "It's okay Alex, shake it off!" I don't know.. I thought it was hilarious.

Icarus Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I would have voted for Resist if it sounded just like the Rush In Rio Live accoustic version(I heard the Rush In RIO version before the studio track), but it doesn't so I'll give the vote to TOTEM. I do like DOG YEARS too.
