This is Link.  Just got him last month.  cheer.gif

http://usera.imagecave.com/RolindaBonz/Lincoln.bmp.jpg

He's a 2004 Lincoln Town Car.

mmmmmmluxury...quite a step up from the Hyundai Accent I've been driving for the last 7 years (7 looong years)  fists crying.gif

http://usera.imagecave.com/RolindaBonz/woot.gif http://usera.imagecave.com/RolindaBonz/v8.jpg

laugh.gif 7 yrs later (!!!) i got rear-ended on the freeway! scared.gif

AND pushed into the car in front of me sad.gif

who got pushed into the car in front of THEM! wacko.gif

what a suck!

the guy-who-hit-me's ins co (state farm) declared it a "total loss"

initially, i was p.o.'d but wasn't too worried.

it looked like minor damage on both ends, so they gave me a rental

and we sent it to the body shop. confused13.gif

they estimated $5600 at first, but after they peeled it back,

they discovered the trunk was buckled up.

they won't be able to hang the rear, quarter panel unless they straighten out the floor of the trunk.

this discovery (lol - np Discovery) pushes the cost of repair higher than their perceived value of my car fists crying.gif

i had planned on driving that car another 5 yrs sad.gif

it was paid off in '08 smile.gif

so now its time for a new car (payment) pokey.gif

state farm gives me $9300, but i cant get another lincoln for that no.gif

im gonna hafta suck it up and saddle up for another 3 yr ride angry.gif

THEN then tell me, i have 3 days to turn in "The Rental"

which really pisses me off,,,for obvious reasons you'll understand yes.gif

so i'm off to the Lincoln dealer$hip in the morning b_sigh.gif

with the forecast of gas prices (!!!@#$##%!!!)

i'm having second thoughts unsure.gif

then again, Linc served me strong...i never even felt sore from the impact. new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

i HAVE to get another one wub.gif

wish me luck?

Silver 2004 VW Jetta Wagon. We got it Nov. 15th 2009 after our 1994 VW Golf Hatchback that was totalled (got hit head-on; not our fault). It holds a lot more stuff and is an automatic. I do kind of miss the stick shift but this is better for my arthritis. confused13.gif

I put Flowmasters and a K&N air charger on it, so it's got close to 400 hp.

Figured I'd put the pictures in this thread...2003 Outback. I don't care what kind of image it puts across, it's an amazing car. I don't have any GREAT pictures of it, though I'll probably take some next time I'm home (amazing scenery there)

and here it is in its natural habitat:
