Mika Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Couldn't find a thread like this by searching, so I thought I'd start one on what does your user name mean? My user name, Mika, is the name of my cat. [randomly enough, she just now leaped up on my lap!] We found her a few years ago as a skin-and-bones starving stray and nursed her back to health. She was so tiny (though a full-grown adult at about two years old) that I named her the latin word for 'tiny morsel' or 'crumb', "mica". She has grown into a beautiful cat, with a loving and spunky personality. "Mika" to me means perseverance and survival, as well as a lovely kitty, so I thought it apt as a moniker. circumstantial tree Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 "Circumstantial Tree" was easy enough to do. I just put the song "Circumstances" and "The Trees" into one name. The idea came to me to do this when I had a design exercise in school once where there was a list of adverbs on one side and a list of nouns on the other. You matched an adverb with a noun, and whatever that is, you were to draw or paint the result. Plus, I find trees, in general, to be interesting.
