Even up here in Minnesota/Wisconsin.......this is the hottest it's been for almost 20 years. Highs in the low-100's....!!

Went to watch my son in the 4th of July parade. It was horrible out there. Fortunately he made it, with a lot of water breaks. We left after his band passed by us.

This is so out of line for us, we use to get maybe 2 weeks of 95 to 102 in July and the rest was 75 to 85 and some rain all the time, it has been 85 to 95+ for the last 6 damn weeks and no rain just firedevil.gif Fire!! So over it...

In Nashville the all time record high was broken and we reached a balmy 110 degrees fahrenheit the other day. We've been enjoying a cooler average of 100 degrees for the last few days. Summer, gotta love it. wub.gif

It was 103 yesterday in my neighborhood, just northwest of Chicago.

In 1995, we had a wicked heatwave, and temps got up to 106 then. This is almost as bad.

Probably will remain so, having the lowest high as usual smile.gif

I feel awful for those in the area marked '100' - that's got to be a scorcher!

I remember that summer well. In La Crosse, WI, it hit 108 the first week of July.

But then, six months later, it was -36 ..... !! ohmy.gif ohmy.gif
