go2wrk@95974
Being a LA Lakers fan, it's probably the Boston Celtics. (Even though I was born in LA, I have Mass. ancestry going back to the Mayflower pilgrim's.) I actually don't hate Boston..I have respect for all the Championship's they've won, over the years. They have a winning tradition, obviously. No matter how the Lakers tried, during the 60's, in the finals, they could never get to the promised land ( win a ship). They finally succeeded in 1985, and won it all. All those disappointing losses in the 60's, really ate at the team and their fan's, and made Laker fan's despise Boston with a passion..but when LA started winning ship's in the 80's and 2000's, that hatred for Boston, I believe, has subsided somewhat, with the Laker's fan's. presto123
Don't know that I hate any team now but I used to despise the Knicks back when they had a lot of thugs on the team.(when Pacers-Knicks was a huge rivalry) Knicks are actually kind of likable now. Yeah,I agree.. NY is a good team, with lots of potential. If they can land another small forward or strong forward, and shore up their bench somewhat, they could make a serious run for a Ship..probably not this year, but next year. Don't count out the Pacers next year either. They may be only one piece away. Third best record in the East this year. Only problem is hard to land a Superstar in a small market.(I would love Deron Williams) Plus....NBA FO doesn't want a small market team to win Championship usually. If the Pacers are somehow able to land Williams this offseason they will be deadly. Edited April 25, 2012 by presto123
Ancient Ways
I would have answered this differently over the years. even though I loved the 80s fast break Lakers I hate them the most now. In the Jordan era it was the Pistons. The Heat need to actually do something before I'll get angry.

Indy just might surprise alot of hoop-junky's in this yrs. playoffs. ..Ya never know.Same with Philly.Nothin's a guarantee in the playoffs. Some good teams just might fall on their face, and weaker teams might go a long ways.

Rick N. Backer
Historically for me it's been the Lakers, with their awful "home yellows" and that slicked back snake Riley and their "aren't we cool" celebrity fans and "Showtime." Now the Heat are with them, because of that clown James.

I mean Pete Rose left the Reds because they wouldn't pay him enough , but at least he helped them get 2 championships first. And the fact they acted like they were gonna waltz to the title. go2wrk@95974
QUOTE (Bastille Dave @ Apr 26 2012, 10:31 PM) The Lakers, because Ron Artest is on that team. The 08 Celtic's for me, cause Allen single-handedly KILLED us (Lakers) all frickin' series long with his 3's, from both corner's and the top of the key. The dude went completely banana's, and shot lights out, and we could never quite recover from that, unfortunately....the other 2 guys (Pierce and garnett) did their collective damage, also. The Lake-show got their sweet revenge in 2010..so it all evens out in the end.
