fraroc
I gave it a 3. I love Distant Early Warning, Between the Wheels, and Red Sector A. Otherwise WAY to Police like for my taste. Easily they're worst 80's album. Mick (escapes life forever)

greg2112
10. Great lyrics, dark mood, aggressive playing, and a good balance of synth and guitar. Love it top to bottom, including Red Lenses. Edited November 6, 2014 by greg2112
The Analog Cub
10/10 I love every track on this album, and this was the first Rush album I loved listening to beginning to end. The "growing" period was almost non-existent for me.

goose
One of their best. For me it was a real step up from Signals in terms of energy and production value.
Entre_Perpetuo
9/10 Previously I thought your member title would end up being something about polls, but I'm starting to wonder if it'll be something about digging up old threads! :dweez: As for GuP. Great album, but it took a long time to grow on me. Terry Brown's absence is felt acutely, moreso than the presence of extra synths or more new waves guitar tones or electronic drums. It's a cold and uncompromising affair, but all in all ever track is enjoyable, and at least three are outright classics. I'm not big on numbered ratings, but if AFTK is an A+ and RTB is an F, this feels like a solid B.

Kind of like Geddy’s a bassist first, vocalist second.
