We've done this before but let's start out fresh!

Just incase I die before my wife I just wrote down the three songs I want played at my funeral.

1. "Stars Die" Porcupine Tree

2. "You Can't Kill Rock and Roll" Ozzy Osbourne (After all as many of you know rock and roll truly is my religon!)

3. "Old And Wise" Alan Parsons Project

An anagram for "FUNERAL" is "REAL FUN."

U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name

Del Amitri - Driving With The Brakes On

Rush - A Rush song that changes from time to time. Don't press me on which song because I have no plans to die anytime soon, but I do want a Rush song at my funeral while folks cry over my ashes.

The funeral isn't for me, it's for my loved ones. It's their time to grieve, so whatever arrangements get made, it's for them, not me. If it were up to me, there would be no funeral - just dispose of the body in the most inexpensive way possible (I don't want anyone wasting money on something lavish), but I know my wife will want a ceremony.

Songs... I guess my wife will want to know, so here's three, in order:

Rush - Available Light

Bill Haley & The Comets -

(hat tip to the British comedy Red Dwarf for that idea biggrin.gif)

Louis Prima - I'll Be Glad When You're Dead You Rascal You

See, I start off a little serious and get more and more ridiculous. Fun! Levity!

I have not yet decided if I want her to play One Hundred Years by The Cure, and I'm not sure she'd go along with it if I did wink.gif (The song opens with the line, "It doesn't matter if we all die!" laugh.gif)

Do What You Can - The Fixx

"It's not what we are, it's what we do, by what we do, we shall be remembered"

The Fountain Of Lamneth - Rush

"I'm in motion

I am still

I am crying

I am still

I'm together

I'm apart

I'm forever

At the start

Still... I am"

Undecided on the third one...can't remember what I answered the last time.
