tangy
Sadly it seems that Don Cornelius took his life. May he RIP. I used to love to watch Soul Train back in the day and the show had some amazing live performances. This thread is to honor him and the music on his show. RushCanuck
QUOTE (RUSHHEAD666 @ Feb 2 2012, 01:58 AM)Shocking!!! Why would a 75 year old Legend kill himself? My dad will be be 75 in April. I don't get it. Soul Train Rules! RIP I'm strictly speculating about Don's choice. I know from experience with a dearly loved one that when health is gone, pain can't be tolerated, and there is no hope for recovery, death is welcomed. Principled Man
QUOTE (metaldad @ Feb 2 2012, 02:14 PM) QUOTE (rushforumnewuser @ Feb 1 2012, 07:06 PM) A news story I saw said he was in ailing health. RIP So that is the reason he blew his own brains out ? I will never understand it. He was apparently suffering from the onset of dementia or Alzheimer's. I can understand someone not wanting to go through that. Losing one's mind, and knowing that it's happening, is a fate worse than death.
