ILSnwdog
It sucks. I love winter. There was more than one reason I got the license plate number that I have. But it's kind of nice to be driving in January without my snow tires on my car yet.

micgtr71
I live at the base of Adirondack State Park in NY and there is about an inch on the ground. That arrived just the other day. Christmas was warm and this weekend it is going to be 40 and rainy. The snow will probably go. I am not complaining though. Each time it starts out slow, we make up for it in the next few months. We so need the snow here, I don't want fires this summer and I like to take a shower and have running water.. Can't ski with rocks sticking through the snow, what snow we have. Montana is already in trouble with a 45,000 acres on fire. It is January.. Let it freakin SNOW!!

go2wrk@95974
Well..I'd say look for these abnormal weather conditions/variations to persist/continue, as we progress towards 12-2012.... ( I put the the reason for this, on the Earth Wobble...Unfortunately,It will probably only get worse , imo.) The Cont. U.S. , is for the most part , snow-free... and has been for approx. 2 months , while the European Alps are getting completely inundated with large accumulations of the white stuff...Just last week , they received approx. 20-30+ FEET of snow , in some places...incredible and insane!!! (AWESOME for skiers..but also deadly for them, in regards to avalanche risk.) That is absolute proof, that the wobble is happening... and that it's real. Union 5-3992
I didn't even see it coming (didn't watch the news) but with temperature in the 20's and 3 inches of snow, I got a snow day. I know I should be happy, but I worked my ass off on a presentation and worked hard to show it today. Pisses me off that I wasted my night last night only to have the time to do it the next 3 days. 1 of the 7
Tomorrow'll be an indoor day: gonna be 16. Maybe we'll hike on Monday (day off, and it'll be 38)! Crazy! And definitely looking white here now.
