Mara
Ethiopian food. Uck. Especially the injera, their version of "bread". It's wet and spongy and smells sour.
invisible airwave
Campbell's Pork And Beans The sauce tastes more like evaporated milk than the Van Camp's that I'm used to. Van Camp's is a kajillion times better. If I want evaporated milk, I'll eat cereal thank you very much.

It's wet and spongy and smells sour. Right with you on the injera. I was in Ethiopia in 01 and distinctly remember it tasting like carpet underlay. EDIT but I should add that the Ethiopian coffee was out of this world. Edited June 13, 2011 by phlaaps
HowItIs
QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Jun 13 2011, 09:18 AM) Indian Food, except for naan. Yeah, not a big fan of Indian food, either. I had some bright orange sauce with chunks in it at an Indian restaurant in the UK... blech! The nan and Tandoori chicken are okay, though. laughedatbytime
My wife is from the South and enjoys livermush. Technically, I didn't have any, so it doesn't qualify as something I'll never eat again, it's something that I'll never eat, period. Here's a recipe. Ingredients: ■1 fresh hog liver ■1 1/2 lbs. fresh fat pork ■2 c. cornmeal ■Red pepper ■Salt ■Black pepper ■Sage Cook liver and fat pork until tender. Remove from broth the liver only and grind. Add corn meal, peppers, and sage to taste. Add enough of the broth to soften mixture. Cook in saucepan until meal has cooked, stirring constantly. Put in mold. Press down until cold. Slice and serve cold or broil.

Hatchetaxe&saw
Anchovies. Vicious little bastards. Just thinking of them makes me want to gawk. The last time I had them was in Pisa, Italy, in a tiny little trattoria. The chef carefully hid a few of the little f*ckers around the plate, in the salad I think. Oh Christ, it's like concentrated cat food. Hurl hell here.

CMWriter
School fish or school Brussels Sprouts. Oh, the horror! I am like 99% certain I got food poisoning in sixth grade from the school fish. It was the first time I'd ever gotten sick at school and was forced to go home. That day will forever live in infamy for me and I will never eat that again. Thankfully I won't have to, but even if my university offers fish (like on Fridays during Lent or something) I probably won't eat it. I HATED having to go home because I hate missing school. 1 of the 7
QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ Jun 13 2011, 11:03 PM) My wife is from the South and enjoys livermush. My grandmother, uncle, and aunt were living in North Carolina for a while, and on one of our visits down there, my mother finally got brave enough to try this "livermush" she kept seeing on the menu in restaurants down there. She's a very adventurous eater and loves liver and onions, but I don't think even she'd eat livermush twice
