CMWriter
QUOTE (Force Ten @ Jun 18 2011, 05:25 AM) I think celery has to appear here... My least favourite vegetable. Nooo! Celery is magical! Negative calories! (...And it tastes great with wings.) Once I ate an entire bag of celery stalks. Soooooo good.

phlaaps
QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Jun 14 2011, 03:46 AM) Anchovies. Vicious little bastards. Just thinking of them makes me want to gawk. The last time I had them was in Pisa, Italy, in a tiny little trattoria. The chef carefully hid a few of the little f*ckers around the plate, in the salad I think. Oh Christ, it's like concentrated cat food. Hurl hell here. Tinned or bottled anchovies are horrible, I totally agree with you Hatchet. However, what I seriously recommend you try (if you can get them) is fresh anchovies, lightly battered and fried until crispy. A sprinkling of sea salt and white wine vinegar all washed down with a fine wine.....

burgeranacoke
No sweet meats for me please,(although I will eat a brain taco), and this includes calves liver. When my mom made liver and onions, she would give me a couple of dollars to go to the store and buy anything I wanted, I would not enter the house. Not a fan of mussels. Anything made in lye. Those TGIF brand dinners in frozen foods are horrid.

Yeah, not a big fan of Indian food, either. I had some bright orange sauce with chunks in it at an Indian restaurant in the UK... blech! The nan and Tandoori chicken are okay, though. You're missing out! Either that or you just had bad/poorly prepared Indian food. Indian food is out of this world amazing. You're over here by me HII. Let's hit Cedars restaurant sometime. I love that place. The food is fantastic! You can trust me.

It's like squash with fart. I like eggplant. I do. But! I've only had it three times in my life and all three times I came down with food poisoning right after. I'm never eating eggplant again. Other foods I can happily live without: Stewed tomatoes: Slimy and disgusting. I don't need them in my life. Durian: I tried it. I checked that little box. I did it. And now I am done with it. Pork chops: Had a really, really, REALLY nasty bout of food poisoning after some chops about six months ago. I cannot even think about pork chops without barfing a little. apetersvt
Not really relevant to the thread at hand but the first thing that popped in my head was: LSD I passed the acid test. Haven't done it since 96. Don't regret doing it, but I won't do it again. I can't think of any FOOD that I'll never eat again but I don't really like lima beans, asparagus, artichokes, brussel sprouts, or mushrooms. To me, not liking an entire genre of food [indian food, Japanese, fruit, etc.] is weird. I can understand not liking certain textures, smells, or specific dishes but an entire group?!
