Kozmo4Rush
The CP vinyl I have is a Russian pirate. Looking for an official copy. Ironically, the vinyl sounds FANTASTIC!!! The fidelity and sonic resonance is awesome. But, the sleeve is made of heavy stock paper. No liner notes, etc. Pretty generic. Paid: $37 for it. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g11/Kozmo4Rush/100_2736.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g11/Kozmo4Rush/100_2738.jpg But of all my vinyl, this one is my favorite: A copy of RUSH on PROMO! (Ever see one of these?): http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g11/Kozmo4Rush/File0061.jpg

I went up to and including Presto, and then Roll the Bones wasn't released on vinyl... forcing me to finally buy a CD player on the day that album came out! MainMonkey
Funny you ask. I just started collecting like 2 weeks ago. I used to have around 6 (Sig, MP, ESL, PerW, Hem, AFTK, and ATWAS) several years ago in the dumbest move I've made since selling my 69 Camaro I took them (along with the rest of my albums) to one of those DAV places and gave them to them, just to get them out of my way. I've been going on ebay to try and replace them. Very frustrating because I know half the time I'm bidding againest the owner of the albums so they can try to jack up the price. TheBluePhoenix
Well, since CDs didn't exist when I first got into Rush I bought them all on vinyl including the double foldout version of ATWAS. I don't remember which album was the first to be released on vinyl and CD simultaneously. Power Windows maybe? Whatever it was I have all the vinyl albums before that. senor_velasco
QUOTE (Kozmo4Rush @ Jul 15 2010, 08:06 PM) I have them all, including some imports, singles, 45s, picture discs, diecuts, promos, etc. Way to many to list. Been selling some of my extras lately (sorry, not at this time, though!!! Maybe around Christmas.) Hoping the forthcoming album will be released on vinyl. I love the sound of vinyl (ahem, ANALOG!). Can't compare to digital (too sterile for me sometimes.) The vinyl has "warmth" you cannot get from CDs. If anyone is looking for anything in particular and are having a hard time finding it, contact me and I'll help you track it down. Some of this stuff is not really that hard to find if you look in the right places. Especially European and UK markets!!!!! Does this offer just apply to Rush material or any rare vinyl? Anyway, I have: the first Moon album the "Not fade away" 7" Hemispheres picture disc Presto Roll the bones shaped picture disc Prime mover 7" promo
