I only have that little bit!" Neil: *mumbles quietly to himself* "I have the whole damned bottle...dance my little puppets, dance!"
  6. I'm still holding out for a return to Milwaukee in 2011! The other close shows for me would be Chi-town or downstate Michigan...
  7. I think it is a fine line the band walks. Sure they make more income by touring. But listen to and read the comments from fans that have not seen the band and have been missed on the last couple of tours. Also, getting on the band for not making enough money due to people stealing the music vs buying the CD's is kind of silly. The record companies really stick it to the artists yet no one stands up for the artist losing tones of money to record execs... And I for one am damned glad that the band I grew up loving is still touring and filling arenas and stadiums all over the world! Sure I want a new CD for the collection but right now I'd rather see them live while they still do live shows!
  8. My only comment is they should play less stuff from Moving Pictures..it's like they play that whole Album! Seriously, maybe a few different songs that we have not heard in like 10 - 20 years... But in all honesty, if they come round through Milwaukee again, I'll go again no matter what the setlist....
  9. QUOTE (MysticRhythm @ Apr 9 2005, 01:57 AM) Wow, the last picture looks like he had a couple bottles on that day I would too if I had that cellar! or Geddy's palate! I like my wine, but am no authority on them.....
  10. Goin for the obvious... Bastille Day - the lyric is, "... let them eat cake.." often heard as "Lemony Cake"
  11. QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Sep 22 2010, 08:08 AM) QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Sep 21 2010, 07:40 PM) QUOTE (ProfGumby @ Sep 21 2010, 08:38 PM) Okay, aside from Geddy's great view....has anything come of all this? How about three rows behind that attractive young lady. A dude with his shirt off, and a girl next to him looking kind of sad.... Ew, never noticed the guy with the shirt off, just ewwww! I didn't either till it was pointed out....thanks for that.....NOT.

  13. QUOTE (fool4rush @ Sep 18 2010, 11:01 AM) This will be my last post......I bought my ticket from David @ Friendly tickets (see other post) he sold double seats and we were jammed in the front row. I dance, thats why I'm there...I love the music, so I stood 1/2 way between the railing and the peeps behind me, so not to annoy. If enjoying the music is a crime, then arrest me, thats what I'm there for. And before you go all crazy, I paid alot of $ to be there, and security knew the issue. I have no idea what David paid security to overlook it but as a results, security was trying to make us stand on top of each other. I had a wristband and a legit ticket, not my deal if there was a scam.......... First off - Don't feed the scalpers! They screw the people, they screw the band and make their own rules. Same as the guys who sell the shit shirts (or used to anyway) from 3 blocks away. the band gets nothing from stuff like that. More on topic - All I have to ask here is fool4rush, Is that you in the photograph next to nobodys hero with the RushGrl license plate? If that was you then we have one forum member who was right next to you and one who filmed you as you asked for. Can they help you or harm your claims? I am making no judgment myself but am curious as to lack of details like the above and the questions of how did you, or were you able to, get back in and get your belongings etc? Were you able to get home? And so on....
  14. QUOTE (Sir Lerxst @ Aug 24 2010, 03:54 PM) http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp141/Sir_Lerxst/vlcsnap-336784.png Alex : I wanna sing! Me! Now! Or I will stomp my feet and cry..... Geddy : :go awaaaayyyyy: Messed with the caption a bit
  15. Never! The band is constantly changing, evolving and aging. That being said, I remember several shows where Geddy and the guys sounded a lot worse than folks are complaining about now. And ya know what? I enjoyed those shows immensely! If you don't believe me, listen to some of the live stuff played on Rush Radio then listen to some of the stuff on youtube from this tour.....the band has never been tighter! I would never say they "jumped the shark" just evolved and experimented. From Power windows on to the R 30 era I (at the time) was not listening to the guys like I did earlier. Now that I hear a lot of the stuff I realize how far ahead of its time a lot of it was.
  16. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Jul 29 2010, 03:13 PM) I think he's making fun of Snookie! No, he hasn't been arrested....recently....
  17. QUOTE (trenken @ Jul 19 2010, 08:52 PM)I'm convinced the internet is too much to handle for some people, and I really believe there should be an application process before people are allowed to use it. I hope not! I'd flunk everything except my name!
  18. QUOTE (darth by tor @ Jul 27 2010, 11:12 AM)I'm pretty sure its his old bass with a new neck.. Pre-show http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs170.snc4/37830_426881718112_642838112_4723858_4621246_n.jpg It looks like, the old reliable, the red jazz, a backup old reliable (notice the pearl guard and two with the black pearl guards.... I think I have a better, more close up pic of the body of the "new" bass. I'll see if I can find it. I know someone on Talk Bass had a really good shot of the body... My vantage point at the Milwaukee show was not as good as yours, so I could not see what was in your photo....
  19. Here Again," Alex chimed as he picked-up his axe, strummed a chord, then looked at Geddy and said: "I don't wanna sing my robotic vocal contribution in Subdivisions because it's challenging to watch Neil's hands, pretending he is holding two unicorns." I don't understand Alex's position, but The Mighty F#7add4 Chord sounds as good as it ever has! "Maybe I should learn that chord!," said one unicorn, bouncing off drum-heads, hooves thundering across Neil's indestructable toms. The unicorn's horn snapped-off in Neil's hand, and the beast flew across the studio. I wonder why the horn sounded like a big wet gong hanging on the Elephant's tusk. Geddy sighed, as once again he had to slap his bass with a shovel,"Where's my rake!" Geddy's grip on his maple syrup increased but then he had to take a leak on the platypus. Geddy's zoo membership was taken away when he decided to take a dinosaur stuffed animal. Geddy shoved it into the nearest caravan so he wouldn't have to hide it from
