Y_L, is that a '61 Les Paul??

I see you are still sporting the beard. Looking good!

Cheers Blue J :) Yeah, I'm still liking the facial fungus.

But that's my SG I'm playing. I guess the lighting's not too good. I wish I did have a '61 Les Paul

I had a beard for about 15 years, and shaved it off about three and a half years ago. My kids had never seen me clean-shaven- they were shocked.

I had a close encounter with these three last year,

Hopefully not again next weekend. :madra:

An awesome fearful sight. I've been in a deer stand with momma and 2 cubs sniffing directly underneath me...and I dropped my camera on the ground. They took off but my heart was jacked up for about an hour. They never saw me.

Yeah,

My adrenaline was on high alert after that. Mostly because I was by my self. Made some loud noises and they cleared out. But I still had to walk upstream past the area to get to my van. Of course after getting above that area I lost a huge trout. :madra:

I would be especially terrified to run into momma bear plus cubs alone.

Lets just say,

Its not a fun ordeal. Running in to cubs while the mother is not around is not a good encounter at all. She is some where close by. Getting in between the mother and cubs can lead to a nasty situation.

Part of my time in Washington was spent re-building the red-brick patio you see in the background around the pool. Up at 6:00 AM, lay pavers till noon, then into the pool. Not bad work, if you can get it!

Yeah!! :7up: :hail:

Will she be in Portland next week?

That is still up in the air. I'm not sure how many of my high school buddies will be able to make the show. If I have an extra ticket, she may come along.

Except for the fact his girlfriend ended up dead,

He talked her in to going. I have no sympathy for the idiot.

Neither do I bud...he was a nut. The movie details that fact, and also tries to be sympathetic to a tiny degree. Who doesn't want to help animals.? These animals didn't need his help. The coroner in the film...dude was interesting

Why does the mama bear have her stomach shaved? That seems odd, unless they were domesticated.

Me thinks it has something to do with nursing cub bears. I would think they could be a little rough! ;)

I ascribe it to PMS.

If you need a place to eat and you like Lebanese/middle eastern food, do your self a favor and go to Nicholas's http://nicholasrestaurant.com/

Its not too expensive, very authentic, food is unreal, to this day its my absolute favorite restaurant. On the corner or Pine and Grand, less than a mile south of the Moda Center.

I worked across the street at Ollie Damon's (troutman - really cool old school sporting goods store- I used to repair fishing reels, tell them your a friend of "Danny Boy") all through high school. We let them use our dumpster, so they hooked me up with free food all the time. It was my go to spot to take ladies on dates, the owner used to always hook me up and bring free exotic drinks when I had a lady with me. Additionally, the lebanese girls that worked there were really good looking as well. Everything on the menu is excellent

At the show in Kansas City with my Dad. The drummer in the family who ultimately got me into music at a very young age. He first saw them on the Hold Your Fire Tour in Hampton, VA in 1988, then the Navy pretty much kept him from being able to see them again until the Vapor Trails tour. He caught them on opening night on the R30 tour in Nashville, then I went with him to my first show in St. Louis, 2004. Since then, we've seen 7 more shows together, and this was likely the last.
