Thought this was pretty cool...Mrs. B showed me some old family photos. This one's of her maternal grandparents on their wedding day. Late 20s or early 30s but definitely before WW2.

Gorgeous.

Here's another several years later. Mrs. B's grandfather was a police officer then...pretty interesting to me to see that he was armed with just a katana sword. Somehow that's more intimidating to me than a modern day officer's revolver, baton, and stun gun.

I love seeing old family photos. Thanks for posting these :)

Came back from a hunting trip empty handed, but having enjoyed some time out in the woods with my dad, who's been recovering from a stroke. It was nice to successfully attempt an activity that, a year ago, we didn't know if he'd be able to get back to.

Won my seventh fantasy football game of the year, officially making 2016 a winning season.

Finished season two of Longmire.

Spent some real quality time on TRF.

Today was a good day.

Was it a deer hunt, or were you after birds?

We were going for Deer, but the wolf population in the area is out of control, so it's not a good prospect right now. I feel like the DNR has done a really poor job managing wolf numbers.

But I actually did take one grouse on the trip though. Driving into camp, I saw one off the road and pulled over quick and nabbed it with my 20ga. Enough for a snack that night: wrapped the breast in foil with garlic, butter, salt and pepper, and threw the pouch into the hottest part of the camp fire for 10 minutes. Came out absolutely delicious.

 Sounds delicious!

I agree about the wolf situation. I'll leave it at that, as we are outside SOCN.

:musicnote: Finding My Way :musicnote:

If I'm receiving you correctly, you're referring to the Song on the first album. That album is part of the mental process leading to my Username on the web since '96. I LOVE THAT ALBUM!!! All the songs on it, and I remember the first time I saw that cover also! I was still in that early pubescent mind-set of most males at that time that anything PINK was GAY or having to do with Homosexual behavior. I still didn't get the album until Christmas of '76, as a gift from a relative. I LOVE OLD RUSH!!! The other half, was when I finally got on Message boards, I was almost always the OLDEST FAN THERE. So OldRUSHfan evolved quite quickly...Thanks, rhyv, for this trip down 'memory lane'! Thanks for letting ME Relax!

You're welcome ORFie.

I see you've been Making Memories. :)

I *love* Rush's debut album.

Finding My Way express my feelings to find my own way again. A new way perhaps.

I just received my Clockwork Angels Classic Rock Magazine Fan Pack Edition!! :D

I'm enjoying every second and inch of it!! I'll post on Rush section during the weekend.

It has some different features and I'll take pictures and post scans soon enough.

I just need time to make it.

Just found out from Johnny Blaze's posting that the Time Stand Still movie is showing again in the theater next Thursday!! It is not too far from me, and I'm hoping I can go this time (I know, the night before the DVD comes out, but still :) :) )

Just landed in Los Angeles a few minutes ago......and in one piece!

Strangely, though, I'm feeling a strong desire to write a screenplay......

Not that I don't believe you but some of us will need photographic evidence for further analysis.

Sure, I can go back and snap her picture.......and get my ass kicked by the Russian bouncers.....
