Mrs. B's grandfather was a police officer then...pretty interesting to me to see that he was armed with just a katana sword. It was nice to successfully attempt an activity that, a year ago, we didn't know if he'd be able to get back to. Won my seventh fantasy football game of the year, officially making 2016 a winning season. Finished season two of Longmire. Spent some real quality time on TRF. I feel like the DNR has done a really poor job managing wolf numbers. But I actually did take one grouse on the trip though. Driving into camp, I saw one off the road and pulled over quick and nabbed it with my 20ga. Enough for a snack that night: wrapped the breast in foil with garlic, butter, salt and pepper, and threw the pouch into the hottest part of the camp fire for 10 minutes.
