I voted Polar Express, but I love the old classics as well. Polar Express (although animated) had an older feel to it and the story is touching.

I would also like to add that Tim Allen makes the WORST Santa ever.

Tim Allen makes the worst everything, except for playing the 'captain' in that Star Trek spoof called Galaxy Quest and using his voice only for Toy Story. Haven't seen Redbelt so I'm not sure how good, or much of a factor, he is in that one.

Merry Christmas Charlie Brown

If the 30 minute specials are included in this, then Merry Christmas Charlie Brown is my favorite of all.

I love Elf!

My all time favorite is A Christmas Story, though. I distinctly remember, as a kid, reading the original review in the NY Daily News. One star! They gave it one star! wacko.gif

I also loved Santa Claus is Coming To Town, but they don't play it on TV anymore...it's by the same people who do Rudolph.

Actually, ABC Family has been showing all those old Christmas shows every night, as they've been doing for the past few years now...I always make it a point to watch them too!

I'm not a X-mas kinda guy, so Bad Santa gets my nod. I just can't go along with all the fluffy good times and good cheer people are supposed to have, so I love the sarcasm and ill will toward men on this one.

Still, cut Billy Bob a bit of a break. he did have a soft spot for some poor snotnosed kid and took him to heart.

Hey Vern.

Never seen it, or any other Ernest movie (am I missing something?). I decided against including it, as well as such films as Christmas With The Kranks and Denzel Washington's remake of Bishop's Wife, The Preacher's Wife.

Nah, it's a terrible movie that I would recommend to no one but myself. A Christmas Story would be my real pick.

A Christmas Story. Love Actually is a really good movie too, and my wife and I watch it every Christmas season, but it really isn't a movie for the whole family.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original)

A Charlie Brown Christmas

This Christmas

The Family Stone
