I'm making this poll because it seems like some people have a problem with sarcasm in the forum. I'll be the first one to admit that I am a sarcastic person but I only use sarcasm in the spirit of fun and never to try and hurt someone. I love humor and I feel that 90% of humor is somehow related to sarcasm.

Thank you

My sister went thru a phase where she was drop-dead funny... and sarcasm was her best tool. I agree that like 90% of good humor is based off sarcasm.

Extra credit: In what songs does Rush use sarcasm?

one answer: Superconductor, the spoken phrase, "Now that's entertainment!" tongue.gif

I love it, because it's the lowest form of wit.

Unfortunately it goes way over the head of most Americans. If only I could find the link to some research that says the fine upstanding British have a sarcasm gene, and most Americans don't.
