I can't really think of one-buts its not necessarily something like going to a concert (which is awesome), but for me its just things like driving in my car or doing homework at my desk while listening to the great songs that I've grown up with and have great memories of.

QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Jul 4 2010, 12:23 AM) QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Jul 4 2010, 12:55 AM) Dear RUSHHEAD666, I understand the reasons behind why you would be thinking of Green Day. However, I respectfully say that you must be out of your f***ing mind to think that even the younger Rush fans here would vote for that other band. Sincerely, Dookie Pretty much. Pretty Much

my first few listens to Caravan, I thought it was kinda lame. now i think its the best thing they've done for a while.

Guys, I somewhat feel the same way, but some Rush is better than none. I also love their late 80s stuff like you said, but I prefer the "Moving Pictures" fan over the "rush is gay" person, who I encountered everyday in high school. i'm 19

QUOTE (-D-RocK- @ Jun 28 2010, 03:26 PM) Here's my theory, and it's probably way off, but none the less........ Rolling Stone is a magazine written by Americans about other Americans for Americans. not really, all their favorites are the Beatles and Bob Dylan. PS Rolling Stone Sucks. horrible biased magazine -
QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Jun 24 2010, 10:06 AM) QUOTE (Xanadu93 @ Jun 24 2010, 12:03 PM) Is this the one where they do a snippet of Cygnus X-1? That was pretty damn awesome. Yep. She may be a little Pop tart, but at least her BAND knows about real music! I LOVE THIS

QUOTE (bigalfan @ Jun 18 2010, 11:12 AM) Three years later, in 1970, the greatest prog-rock influence ever, imo, released their first album, Emerson Lake & Palmer. I am constantly finding this band overlooked when this subject is discussed. It boggles my mind as to why. (OP - my post IS NOT intended toward you - '67 is not '70 - just a thought about this subject overall.) it is true, ELP established the classic "side long epic" with Tarkus (i'm not counting Pink Floyd's side longers that came before because they were more just Psychedelic )
