  2. My wife watches it and I catch it in bits and pieces...It's pretty good...I like that they added that greaseball who plays a goofy guy all the time...he's pretty funny.
  3. QUOTE (pedro2112 @ Nov 26 2008, 01:17 AM) QUOTE (Marathonist @ Nov 25 2008, 08:06 PM) I'd be more excited if it didn't feature that freak Tom Cruise. You have to learn to seperate the art from the artist. Cruise, while clearly a freakazoid, can actually be an outstanding actor. I agree with both of you...I hope it's good...I'll see it.
  4. I'm going to buy the new S&A DVD.
  5. Why is my wife so beautiful?
  6. QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Nov 25 2008, 01:24 AM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lU4NTkEn_0 Does anyone else remember this show? How about other shows from our youth? Especially Saturday & Sunday mornings? I remember this Marlo guy...but I had forgotten what the show was about.
  7. One of my absolute favorites for the past 30+ years!
  8. Why is zero point zero so funny?
  9. QUOTE (Del_Duio @ Nov 17 2008, 12:59 PM) This sucks, my work blocks anything fun or worthwhile so I can't see it. I tried the movie's website but they only had the 1st trailer up as of the other day. SPOILER! Highlight to read! I read some comments complaining there was "no squid". Now since all of us have probably read the book I'm wondering how this could be possible? I mean don't you kind of REALLY NEED it to be in there? Maybe they just didn't show it...I agree it kinda needs to be there, but then agian they might make something more "horrifying". [Mod edited to hide spoiler.]
  10. I saw a couple episodes last weekend and was impressed...actually good.
  11. I had Evil Kenevil too...I used to just throw him around though instead of using that crank gizmo that made him go. As for SSP...I had the smash up derby set.
  12. QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Nov 15 2008, 03:42 PM) I had the Steve Austin action figure, too... but I had the 1975 original, not the 1977 version with bionic grip. And mine didn't come with that plastic orange girder; it came with an "engine block" thing that he could lift. (See photograph.) I remember being able to look through his bionic eye, and peel his skin back to see the bionic parts in his arm/legs. http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/bionic/images/thumb/f/f3/Bionics02.jpg/450px-Bionics02.jpg This is the one I actually had as well...apply aforementioned story to this model.
  13. There were some "cool" kids in my 6th grade class who made up their own version of that song....went like this I smoke marijuana and I'm proud Part of an original crowd and if you look around these days there seems to be a marijuana craze Oh, I'm a pothead, he's a pothead, she's a pothead, We're a pothead wouldn't you like to be a pothead too? Another interesting drug fact about my 6th grade class was that at the annual 6th grade dance (complete with DJ and refreshmets) the DJ announced the most requested song by the class was Cocaine, by Clapton....
  14. I had that toy too!!! I can remember knowing I was getting it for Christmas too because I listened at the bathroom door as my mom was telling my dad what to get me for Christmas (no my mom wasn't using the bathroom at the time). She heard me and busted me...but I still knew I was getting it.
  15. Hey....that one guy looks like RR.
  16. QUOTE (Cowtothesky @ Nov 7 2008, 12:34 AM) Does this commercial bother anyone? Bingo! I can't STAND this commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ4VNcMRLtY When you are done watching the link provided, watch the one that says "Japanese infomercial gets out of hand".
  17. QUOTE (Necromancer @ Nov 4 2008, 11:40 AM) QUOTE (DiscipleofLerxst @ Nov 3 2008, 07:26 PM) Was it called Gerry? Ummm... yeah. Just like the name of the thread. How'd i confuse you??? For starters I've never even heard of it. In your initial post you never mention that Gerry was the name of the movie, only that you saw "this" movie. Rereading your first post I see that you started this thread specifically for people who have seen the movie. I apologize for reading it. Maybe you should have stated that more clearly in the name of thread as well as the movies name so I wouldn't read it in the first place.
