  1. Saxon are shite, they come from Barnsley. Even Dickie Bird doesn't like Saxon. Getting a drummer called Nigel is a no-no. Eh-up, nah giz a cup o'tea I'm reet thirstah like. Nah weer's me singin' teeth gone duck?
  2. Another vote for the Pass here. Finding My Way's not too bad either.
  3. QUOTE (Cygnusx3 @ Mar 9 2008, 05:01 PM) QUOTE (Analog Brian Kidd @ Mar 9 2008, 04:56 PM) VT is an aural abortion, badly produced, badly written, truly horrible. some people will jsut never understand the true awesomeness of Vapor Trails.......it deserves better. Some people have unclogged ears, and taste.
  4. S&A, it has listenable moments, and is the best effort since Counterparts - how to damn with faint praise VT is an aural abortion, badly produced, badly written, truly horrible.
  5. QUOTE (TheRocinanteKid @ Mar 6 2008, 03:49 PM) Probably because Skid Row > Metallica. Oh dear ....shakes head sadly at youth of today....
  6. QUOTE (nimagraven @ Mar 6 2008, 07:22 AM) Ooo. Phil Jupitus is a rush fan. Never knew that I don\'t think he is really. I\'ve heard that the guy who produces his show is the fan, and they just gave them a job lot of XXXXXXXXXL t-shirts when they appeared on his show.
  7. QUOTE (Jaye @ Mar 5 2008, 05:45 PM) But I'm starting to really dislike this Analog Brian guy Thanks I have no experience of Mick Pointer's drumming of late, but in Marillion his time keeping -especially live - was as reliable as a British Rail clock. His replacement teh guy from Camel was a good drummer, but had a fragile personality that couldn't cope with raging drunken scotsmen. The guy from Steve Hackett's band could drum and cope with raging Scots. Think of him as Marillion's Rutsey.
  8. QUOTE (TheRocinanteKid @ Mar 5 2008, 04:54 PM) QUOTE (Jaye @ Mar 5 2008, 09:50 PM) Mick Pointer, Marillion's drummer. Ohh I didn't know anything about that! Do you know why he was fired? He seemed pretty cool to me. I prefer Ian Mosley but never understood why they booted Pointer. Because he was a shite drummer and a pisshead.
  9. Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall and John Thompson are Rush fans. Hugh was seen at Wembley on the R30 tour, and Tommo was row 3 at MEN this year.
  10. QUOTE (GeminiRising79 @ Feb 27 2008, 06:02 PM) Alex: So fat that he\'s changed the shape of his face...man, this guy used to be so angelic looking, now he looks like an angry redneck country-music singer. That\'s because it\'s a different Alex. The original Alex decided that he enjoyed himself more as KK Downing of Judas Priest, so dedicated his life to HEAVY METAL. Since then a succession of stunt Lerxsts have taken his place, with the difficulties of getting a new Alex resulting in the lengthy hiatus between 1997 and 2002. It does take a while to teach an angry redneck country-music singer to play Rock guitar.
  11. Wow, grease your botty Lerxst, and make sure Mrs L has the video camera Oh yeah, she can grease her botty too..........
