Fewer and fewer people want to participate in protecting people from COVID

There are more job websites that are happy to flood my inbox with bullshit job postings than there are jobs, it seems.

I think I would be okay helping primarily older folks over the phone.

Wide scale adoption doesn't happen till this is figured out. Just buy an HEV.

Huh? A healthy mix of L1 and L2 charging, and some 100-300kW chargers here and there, is totally enough. Very few grids are on track to have problems with the current growth trajectory. It’s just such a non issue for most areas.

One day we’ll need to really figure out how to own an EV in an older apartment complex. Those are some of the last customers to be served, not a “right now” problem to fix

The pandemic is over. COVID is likely "with us" forever.

Well, similar SARS viruses were with us before.  19 was a particularly nasty variant, and it will continue to morph.

A bigger problem is affordability for lower income people.  You can get a serviceable used gas burner for 3k.

And unfortunately the days of very cheap gas cars are totally over. I’ve seen a lot of stellar $500-$2000 cars in my time. Not anymore. Not even kind of.

Weird that Fakebook would expose you to a conversation in an obscure car group that you aren't a member of. I guess since we're friends and you're into car shit it pings the algorithm.

Google maps took away full elevation profiles on mobile devices for walking and cycling, but kept it on PC versions. You know, just as a bit of a f**k you.

Google has really started to suck lately. It's why I've held off from buying Alphabet stock
