This isn’t really a bully-related story but the a-hole jock in your story reminded me of one in my days....

 

I had a few friends then but I was far from popular. I wasn’t completely a nerd since I was decent at football, soccer, and wrestling (yet never joined any of those teams because I hated the coaches and disliked most of those jocks). My few school friends were either brains or art dudes and my grades were JUST good enough (though not super) for some to think I was part of the AP Honors crew, I wasn’t. Anyhoo, this baseball jock pitcher Tony sat next to me in senior history class. He didn’t give me the time of day despite me saying “hey” to him on occasion at the start of class. I gave up after a few times after he just turned his head those times not acknowledging me. Yeah, he was an arrogant dick.

 

One day there was a big test (mid-term I think) and Tony the Arrogant Baseball Dick suddenly decides to become buddy buddy with me 10 minutes before the class. “Johnny, what’s up? You study for the test? Why don’t you help me out a little alright, man?” I tell him, “I guess so” then listen to what our hand signals will be for him asking and me feeding him the answers. [You can tell where this is probably going...maybe?]. He interrupts me several times during the test looking for answers. So, I feed him the answers. A week later we get our tests back. He looks at his test in confusion. Some cutie pie sitting next to us asks him, “What’d you get, Tony?” He goes, “55%!”. The cutie pie laughs. He then turns to me feeling betrayed and asks, “What'd you get?!” I show him my paper and say, “84%.” Shocked, he proclaims that I’m a dick. I tell him, “Oh well, you shouldn’t have trusted me.” He never speaks to me again. What’s the difference? Despite seeing me around campus and in classes for 3.5 years, he never spoke to me before that test day anyway.

 

You know, sometimes high school wasn’t so bad. And every once in a while I did the cool thing that some kids wish they did.

 

This post is dedicated to all those not-so-cool kids who often were not included in cool reindeer games. f**k you, Tony the Arrogant Baseball Dick and your lot.

It was a Christian High School. Fuckking Hypocrites. Everyone was doing drugs.

This isn’t really a bully-related story but the a-hole jock in your story reminded me of one in my days....

 

I had a few friends then but I was far from popular. I wasn’t completely a nerd since I was decent at football, soccer, and wrestling (yet never joined any of those teams because I hated the coaches and disliked most of those jocks). My few school friends were either brains or art dudes and my grades were JUST good enough (though not super) for some to think I was part of the AP Honors crew, I wasn’t. Anyhoo, this baseball jock pitcher Tony sat next to me in senior history class. He didn’t give me the time of day despite me saying “hey” to him on occasion at the start of class. I gave up after a few times after he just turned his head those times not acknowledging me. Yeah, he was an arrogant dick.

 

One day there was a big test (mid-term I think) and Tony the Arrogant Baseball Dick suddenly decides to become buddy buddy with me 10 minutes before the class. “Johnny, what’s up? You study for the test? Why don’t you help me out a little alright, man?” I tell him, “I guess so” then listen to what our hand signals will be for him asking and me feeding him the answers. [You can tell where this is probably going...maybe?]. He interrupts me several times during the test looking for answers. So, I feed him the answers. A week later we get our tests back. He looks at his test in confusion. Some cutie pie sitting next to us asks him, “What’d you get, Tony?” He goes, “55%!”. The cutie pie laughs. He then turns to me feeling betrayed and asks, “What'd you get?!” I show him my paper and say, “84%.” Shocked, he proclaims that I’m a dick. I tell him, “Oh well, you shouldn’t have trusted me.” He never speaks to me again. What’s the difference? Despite seeing me around campus and in classes for 3.5 years, he never spoke to me before that test day anyway.

 

You know, sometimes high school wasn’t so bad. And every once in a while I did the cool thing that some kids wish they did.

 

This post is dedicated to all those not-so-cool kids who often were not included in cool reindeer games. f**k you, Tony the Arrogant Baseball Dick and your lot.
