I do think Strangers in the Night by UFO should be on the list for sure. Maybe it doesn't need 2 Dead albums?A few other possible candidates:The Doors - Absolutely LiveRobin Trower - LiveFoghat - LiveRush - Exit Stage LeftRush - All The World's a StageNeil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust What say you? taurus
Max Webster - Live Magnetic Air. love the mention of the Max Machine but I felt a bit underwhelmed when it was released. No The Party/Beyond the Moon/Toronto Tontos/High Class. I guess basically I needed a double live album, but what is there is great. If you haven't heard it yet, I recommend seeking out the Vancouver Commodore Ballroom show from 1978. It's a radio broadcast that serves up all that was missing from LMA I mainly listen to rock so many of those records I've never heard The live records that meant most to me Rush ATWASKiss AliveNugent Double Live GonzoDeep Purple Made in JapanZappa/Mothers Roxy and Elsewhere Jethro Tull Bursting Out Edited September 20, 2020 by taurus
goose
Wings Over America, Tull's Bursting Out, Double Live Gonzo would make my list before many of those albums, but the list itself isn't too bad, really.

toymaker
These kinds of lists usually snub the proggy stuff. I was surprised by a couple of these choices, I guess. I'd also consider Donny Hathaway Live, Genesis Three Sides Live (the version with the fourth side live), John Hiatt Comes Alive at Budokan, and . . . maybe . . . Live Killers by Queen, although I haven't listened to it in a while. I'd consider Floyd at Pompeii, because I think that version of Echoes is pretty great.
