I forgot about Ariana Grande!

Also wasn't aware The Raconteurs had new music.

I recommend Lacuna Coil if you're up for trying them at their heaviest and most emotional. I'm blown away by Black Anima in a way I didn't realise I could be by them. It's just a great record, one that combines elements of their entire career, but also tries new things too.

Well TRFers it's nearly that time of year again. Which albums will make your best of list this year? Time to get the thinking caps on.

Too early for me. There's a lot of attention-grabbing stuff coming in November/December.

Voyager, Bask, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Mystery, Pretty Maids, THE WHO...

Here's a link to one site's highest rated albums of 2019.

https://www.albumoft...st-rated/2019/1

I have heard none of those albums listed and don't even know most of those names.

Whew. I thought it was just me.

I listen to some of them and heard nothing special. Pretty derivative stuff, to be honest.

My favorite from 2019 is Lana del Rey's Norman F-ing Rockwell!. Her remake of Sublime's Doin Time is...well...sublime.

In a five-star review for NME, Rhian Daly called the album "nothing short of stunning."

ETA: I see it's #20 on the list I posted earlier.

I'm a wealth of non-information when it comes to new music but I do love Fat White Family's latest, Serf's Up! Here they are being very silly in a very British fashion. The music starts at 0:45...
